First Grader

Cambree started school this past Tuesday and the verdict is still out as far as her liking it or not. She thinks it's a bit boring and tells me "I just have to sit and listen all day long." I think they played a bit more in Kindergarten. Her favorite thing about school is lunch and recess-not a big surprise. She's such a social bug that I'm sure she's chit chatting all day long. Hopefully she learns to listen...especially since she got into dual immersion and is in Spanish class half of every day. When we moved to Heber I tried getting her into dual immersion but they were full and she never got in. Thankfully they called me a few weeks ago to let me know they had an opening and she was in! She was so excited, couldn't wait to speak Spanish. I'm sure it will take time for her to adjust to not understanding the language. I guess by about third grade they can usually speak pretty fluently. I can't wait!
