Roll baby, roll!

Addison can officially roll over from her back to her belly. Her first time was on Friday and she can do it so fast now. I swear I blink and she's already rolled over. I love how she clasps her hands together and rolls her little body. It's so dang cute!

I thought she would be slower developmentally because she was a preemie but it seems like she's doing it a little faster. I looked online and it said to expect them to do it at 6 months. I'm sure she'll be slower/faster with some things, it's just hard to know what to expect because I've never had a preemie before. All I can say is she's doing great and is such a smart little baby.

For some reason now she can't remember how to get from her belly to her back. Even though she was doing that last week. I'm sure she'll figure it out soon! We love our little baby!

Crafting

About a month ago, I got together with 2 of my sister in laws and their girls to do a craft night. It was kinda crazy, there was 6 of us crafting and I had Cambree and Addie. Let's just say it was a craft we all will probably never make again because it was so time consuming. Or at least we won't glitter our letters. But thankfully they turned out really cute. Our hard work paid off! Thanks Aimee for the idea, even though it was a little chaotic.

For some reason it has driven me crazy to have the box of laundry detergent just sitting on my counter. So I bought this cute glass container and added the letters on it to spice up my laundry room. I'm so happy I did this!

And lastly I've wanted to use my sewing machine I got from Christmas. So I picked out some cute fabric...

And made pillows for our family room downstairs. I think they turned out really cute. I finally added some color to our family room and I LOVE it.

My next project, pillows for our upstairs couches!

Swim Time

We took the girls last week to our gym to go swimming. I took some pictures of them before we went to the pool, but I didn't bring my camera to the pool.

Addie had never been swimming before and she looked adorable in her swimsuit!

Addie just sat in the water in awe. And Cambree giggled the whole time. I will be signing her up for swim lessons this summer for sure. It was a fun time to go as a family.

5 Months Old!

Miss Addison is such a little sweetie pie. She is our miracle baby. We are thankful for the time that Allie and Addison had together in my belly. Oh how we wish and dream about raising them together. It's comforting to know what Allie would have looked like but hard at the same time because she's not here with us. The weeks seem to keep flying by and oddly my life is rather calm. I'm thankful that I can take these winter months to grieve and not care about going anywhere.

I love spending time with my girls. Sadly I know they grow up too quickly. Addie has such a fun little personality. We are grateful everyday for her.

All you have to do is talk to her and she smiles and giggles back to you. She is so photogenic that I could take pictures of her all day long!

She still loves bath time. She just sits there and smiles. I usually make it pretty quick though because for some reason she likes to poop in the tub. Which isn't too fun for me.

We still are doing tummy time with her. She can roll over from her stomach to her back. She kicks her feet and she can kind of move her body but she hasn't mastered rolling from her back to her stomach just yet.

Addie doesn't use a pacifier. But she sticks her fingers in her mouth when she's hungry. She's still doing really well nursing, so we are going to wait a little bit before she gets rice cereal.

She is really good about sleep. She takes a nap in the morning and in the afternoon. She usually is in bed by 7pm and wakes up twice in the night to eat. We lay her down like we did with Cambree, when they are still awake. So they learn they have to fall asleep on their own.

Awake one minute,

Asleep the next!

It's cold outside...

In a matter of 2 days we got 2.5 feet of snow. Thankfully we didn't have any plans so we were able to just stay inside.

Well Cambree couldn't stay inside, the moment we showed it to her she had her boots on and was ready to go outside.

All bundled up and ready the next day to go play!
