I love this time of year. It makes you stop and think about what you're truly grateful for. I know for me it's my family of 5. I couldn't ask for a better husband. He is always there for me and makes me so happy. I am one lucky girl to have found him. I'm also blessed to have three beautiful daughters. I will never be able to leave miss Allie out even though she's not here physically with us. I know she's close by watching over us. And Cambree and Addie bring me purpose to my life. They make my heart happy.
Family is what it's all about. It's easy to get distracted with material things, or small petty things but really none of that matters. The only thing that matters are the people who surround you. I have found that more true than anything I know. And I am so thankful that my eyes are open and clear to what's around me. Family.
Enough of my thoughts about Thanksgiving...This year I hosted it at my house. It was my first time ever cooking a whole turkey as well as having everyone over for a big holiday party at my own home. My mom just arrived home from visiting my sister, Karly on Tuesday afternoon. She had told me that since she was getting home so close to Thanksgiving that they wanted everyone to go together to Chuck-A-Rama (buffet style food). I was against going there from the moment it came out of her mouth. I talked to Benton and offered to host it at my house.
It's a lot of work cleaning your house, getting it ready and then cooking. I made rolls, pumpkin pie, the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and the gravy. The rest my sister and mom brought. It was a lot of work and I'm happy to report everything was a success. I must say I'm kinda relieved its over with. I think it's going to be a while till I ready to host another big holiday at my house. I'm glad I did it but I realize how much work it really is!
Benton carved his first Thanksgiving turkey.
As you can see the food was all delicious!
My family.
And then here are a few of my favorites. My brother sleeping or attempting to sleep on my couch as the kids play around him. And then Cambree and Spencer hugging. She loves her cousin Spencer, she says he's her best friend.
I hope your Thanksgiving was a happy one. I know ours was.

Seven Peaks Fun Center
Since Benton has the next 5 days off work, we decided to go to the fun center as a family. Cambree absolutely loved everything, the games, the rides, the tickets and the prizes. We spent a good two hours playing and everyone left happy. Don't you love the holidays? I know the girls and I do mainly because Benton is home with us all the time and not working.

Addison at 15 months
Miss Addison is 15 months old today. We went to her well check and everything looks good. She's right on track developmentally just physically she's small. I think people are surprised when they see her walking around because she doesn't look like she should be able to.
Weight: 15 lbs 12.8 ounces, <5% for her age Height: 29.2 inches,20% for her age
Addie is always copying Cambree. I can only imagine how much more she will copy her as they grow older. Thankfully they are good little friends and like to play with one another. Cambree shut her bedroom door the other night on Addie and as you can see, Addie couldn't figure out how to get in her room.
Her hair can be a little out of control at times. Especially when she wakes up from a nap. But generally the back of her hair is always a mess, even if I brush it.
She loves to dance. Once the music comes on she starts dancing in circles. And like her big sister she likes to wear a skirt to twirl in.
And like any 1 year old, she loves to make messes. She's pulling things out of drawers and spreading them throughout our house. She even goes to our stairway and throws containers, toys, etc down into our basement.
We love you Addison, you make our hearts happy.

Snow Day!
It snowed for most of the day yesterday which meant we could play outside. We took out our sled to see if it would work sledding in our backyard. We have a small hill and it worked perfectly! I'm sure they'll love it while they are little, just one more thing I love about our new home. It makes me excited for more snowy days to come!
