Our 4 Year old Addie

Addison as she likes to be called is 3 feet 1.5 inches tall (10th percentile for her age) and weighs 27.6 pounds (1st percentile for her age). Even though she is tiny she has such a big personality and has us wrapped around her little fingers.

She seriously is the cutest thing you've ever talked to. She has her own language. Us as her parents can understand most of what she's saying but unless you've been around her quite a bit, you might not be able to understand what she's talking about. I love her little voice and wish it would always stay the same. Wishful thinking-I know.

Here are some examples of what she says vs what it really means...
"otay" means okay
"mayvee" means maybe
"nussin" means nothing
"cazy" means crazy
"milt" means milk
"at juice" means apple juice
"teet" means treat
"dinkty" means drinky
"hundy" means hungry
"that's fonnie" means that's funny
"n & n'ms" means M&M's
"Dambree/Dam" means Cambree/Cam

And other things she's always saying to us:
"I have idea!"
"That' not idea!"
"You know dat?"
"Not me."
"I don't care."
"What we do?"
"I just don't know bout that."
"I'm so mad right now."
"You're not my best friend."
"Is that real?"

At four she has dreams of flying. She wants to be able to be just like "Tinkterbell" who can fly up in the sky. Or even be like Spiderman and be able to climb walls. Her imagination makes me smile, I love it so much.

She had a great birthday, we kept it simple since we had a big party the week before. Thankfully she asked for cookies on her birthday which made my life easier since I had made a cake for her the previous week. I sure hope all her wishes come true.

We love our Addie so very much and we can't wait to see how much she grows up both physically and mentally this year. She starts preschool in the next few weeks and I'm crossing my fingers she adjusts well. I will keep you all updated.
