Lincoln is now 5 months old today! Sadly the months just keep flying by and he keeps getting bigger and bigger! I took these pictures today and I love looking at him. I can see his little personality shining through them. He is the sweetest, most content little guy. Really, he just hangs out with us all and hardly ever fusses. I gave him a bottle the other day to see if he would take it and yep, he just slurped it all down. So easy going, our girls wouldn't have ever done that. And he's always sucking on that big bottom lip of his, take a look at the last picture and you'll see what I mean!
He still does tummy time, he's trying to build his muscles in his neck and back. Soon enough he will be sitting on his own without anything holding him up. He melts all of our hearts, I mean look at that smile!
We all love him so very much. He makes us all so happy. Perfect ending to our family.

Currant Creek 2015
We camped up at Currant Creek this past weekend. It was the first place we ever went camping as a family, so we were excited to head back there. As you can see its absolutely beautiful.
The campground had a small park and the kids loved having it right across from our trailer. Hardly anybody was camping so the kids pretty much had free reign.
They rode their bikes a bunch. Cambree is loving and doing so well riding without training wheels! Benton taught her before he went on a business trip and she learned pretty dang fast!
We took a drive and saw a bunch of deer. It is such a pretty place.
The next day we of course took the kids fishing. They only caught a 2 inch fish. Bummer. My brother also made it out to stay the night with us. They love their Uncle Tom!
The best part of camping for me is relaxing. I was able to take a much needed nap with Lincoln one day and it was fabulous!
The girls wish we could stay longer but 2 nights is all we can do with school.
Until next year, Currant Creek!

Utah State Fair
Our annual visit to the State Fair was a success. We rode rides, ate yummy food and went to the circus. It was the first time the fair had a circus and it was pretty incredible. I would go back just for the circus. My girls were in amazement and so was I. Benton was out of town, so he couldn't join us. There's always next year!
The circus didn't start till 7pm and ended about 8:30. They were exhausted but stayed awake and LOVED it!
It was a fun night for the fair. Perfect weather and with great company. Until next year...

Silver Lake
Yesterday we decided to go on a scenic drive up Guardsman's Pass and we ended up at Silver Lake. We are loving how close we are to so much beauty. Utah really is breathtaking. We were high up enough we could see our little Heber Valley. The sky wasn't as clear as it usually is because of the fire that happened last week but it still was a breathtaking view. Loving all the fall colors too.
We saw a female moose off the trail at the lake. The girls just loved running around. It was the perfect Saturday.

Lincoln at 4 months
We went to Lincoln's 4 month check up today and all went well. He is 14.8 lbs (22nd%) , 25.25 inches long (41st%) and his head circumferences is 16.75 inches (69th%). He is a healthy little guy and had no concerns.
He still is sleeping so very well. Goes to bed between 8-9pm and wakes up usually around 3am to eat and goes back to sleep till about 7am. He still naps in the morning for 2-3 hours and takes another long nap in the afternoon.
His doctor said between 4-8 months old he wants us to feed him whatever we like. Everything is a go, including strawberries, peanut butter, shellfish and eggs. Everything they once told you to wait till they were older is supposedly ok now. Our doctor said that they found that if they were allergic to something that they would be no matter at what age and it's better to catch a reaction while they are younger rather than older. So next we will try baby food and see how he does. We fed him rice cereal and he seemed a little unsure.
He still loves bath time. He however thinks he should be sitting up, rather than laying back in the tub. As soon as he can sit up on his own, then he will be in a big tub rather than this little one.
He loves to roll from his back to his belly. He's mastered it but is still working on going from his belly to his back.
He seriously is the happiest baby ever. So easy and just chills out. We sure do love our Lincoln babe!
