Moab

Can you believe I've lived in Utah most of my life and I have never been to Moab? It's only a four hour drive from our house. I'm so glad we booked this camping trip at the beginning of this year. We took our kids out of school and headed down to Deadhorse Point State Park to camp for 4 nights, 5 days.

Our campground was absolutely beautiful and just a few minutes away from breathtaking views of Deadhorse Point. We also had the cutest little kit foxes at our campground running around.

Unfortunately within the first twenty minutes of arriving Lincoln threw up all over me. I thought maybe it was car sickness but I think he had the stomach flu since it lasted till about midnight. Let's just say it wasn't very fun for any of us...no washer to clean clothes, it was pretty awful. Thankfully he felt much better the next day.

The girls said it was their favorite campsite yet because of all the sand to play in. It kept them busy for hours.

We also took a ton of walks and the girls loved riding their bikes around.

We took advantage of exploring Arches National Park for the next three days. There was so much to see. Addison kept saying the whole time "I don't yike hiking." Cambree was a bit grumpy at times as well...you can clearly see it in one of the pictures below. People stared at us like we were crazy for hiking around with three little kids. They actually did pretty good, besides the occasional complaint.

Ice-cream was a must after hiking one afternoon. That always brings a smile out in them!

We also went to their aquatic center to swim and cool off from the 90 degree temperatures. Smiles all around.

I never imagined I would love camping as much as I do. I really enjoy exploring our beautiful state and spending such wonderful times and making memories with our kids. We will be back hopefully next year to Moab to explore some more!
