Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve morning we had breakfast at Carol's house. The rule was, PJ's only! That made it easy for all of us to roll out of bed and drive over to her house. I didn't take many pictures, but we had a good time visiting with each other. We missed Benton's mom and Tony who usually host Christmas Eve breakfast but they were unable to make it back up for Christmas. But I'm glad us sisters were all still able to get together, that's what its all about, family.

After Carol's we ran to a doctor appointment for Benton. We had a scare with Benton's health this past week, but luckily we found out at the doctor appointment all is well. It sure did make us thankful for our health and thankful that he's here to stay. Best Christmas present!

Later that night we went to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner. My mom made a big turkey dinner, nothing feels like Christmas than going over to your parents house for dinner.

After dinner the kids reenacted the nativity. They sure looked cute all dressed up!

And to end the evening, the girls opened some gifts and then changed into their Christmas pi's (one of my favorite traditions).

We got home, put some cookies out for Santa and some carrots out for the reindeer and off to bed the girls went. They were exhausted from all the running around, I'm so glad they went to bed so easily...I'm sure it won't always be like this!
