Trip to Georgia!

Cambree and I were lucky enough to go to Georgia to be with my family for 12 days! Benton stayed at home since he couldn't get time off of work, hopefully he'll be able to visit my parents in Georgia sometime soon. Me and my sister Karly came on the same day, and about 3 days later my sister Chelsie came. I stayed the whole time they both were there, lucky I know! We had so much fun, we were busy doing things every day, which I love!

It was nice having time just to chill and hang out with each other, since we don't have the chance very often. It was Jack's first time to meet his cousin Cambree and he was just too cute with her. Jack loved hugging her and squeezing her, you could tell how much he loved her by listening to his teeth clench when he hugged her. Every time he would say "She's just too cute, I could squeeze her!" He also liked that her head looked like a potato. He is such a fun little man, almost 5 years old, it was fun talking to him and seeing him with Cambree.

We went to lunch every day....I know we went a lot! It was fun trying new places to eat.

I loved seeing Karly and her kids, since we live closer we've decided we should meet about halfway to see each other, which I hope we do.

My parents had a park really close by, so Cambree tried the swing for the first time and LOVED it!

We took the kids and drove to Atlanta to their Children's Museum, they all had so much fun, it was a kids dream come true...so much to look at!

One day we went to Stone Mountain which is a huge park! They have a granite hill...or mountain? Not sure what I'd call it but they've carved images of some men from the Civil War onto the side of the mountain, which looks pretty cool, not as good as Mount Rushmore obviously, but fun to see. They have bike trails, lakes, boats, picnic areas, tons of things to do. I would love to go back once the weather was a little warmer but it was fun to see...

My favorite thing about this trip is being with my family. I didn't really care what we did as long as we were together. I've missed my family like crazy, so this trip was needed for me. I miss my sisters like crazy, they are my best friends and I am lucky to have them in my life. Can't wait to be with them again, love you girls!

On the last day we went to a Nature Center. It was a beautiful day, so it was nice to be able to be outside looking at how pretty Georgia is. We walked around the trails, it was great being outside.

As you can tell, we had a BLAST! Unfortunately I had to leave out some of the fun things we did, otherwise this post we be REALLY long! I just enjoyed exploring a new city and being together as a family!

It was sad to leave, but I can't wait till we can all be together again! Also I missed Benton like crazy so it's nice to be home again with him! Thanks mom and dad for having us all over, I know we all loved being together!

That sounds perfect, what a great trip for you, I bet it was so wonderful having time with your family for so long. That little Cambree just gets cuter and cuter. That picture of her smiling at herself in the mirror was my favorite, she looks delighted with herself, cute girl. She has a great little smile!
