After lunch we were all walking out and I asked my dad to take a photo of Benton and I. So while he was doing that, a lady walked past and asked "Where are you guys from?" and it made me feel silly, I just replied "Oh you know, from the Layton area". I couldn't help but laugh, so here's our silly photo of us out of towners...
My dad ended up bringing with him a tote that had stuff from my childhood, it was so fun looking through everything. I found this doll that I absolutely loved, my mom told me that it's probably about 60 years old now, Benton thought it was scary, so I'll let you judge for yourself...
She has a cracked head as you can see, but I think she's so cute (I'm probably biased)

Aww the doll is super cute, but without her hat I agree with Benton, a little creepy. Looks like you guys had fun.
Very cool, I love pulling things out from my childhood, I am sentimental like that. Ok, put the Blue Iguana on the annual brothers and sisters holiday dinner list!
yeah . . I have to agree with Benton: it's slightly creepy ;)
We eat at Bennihana's quite a bit and I've always wondered about the Blue Iguana. Maybe next time we're down there I can persuade Tim to forgo the sushi!
oh my goodness! I remember that doll. I don't think she is creepy, but I can see why Benton (or anyone) might.
Hmmm, I think that doll is a little scary too. I am sure you love her though, brings back good memories for you at least!
I think it's a really cute doll, I feel sorry for it with the cracked head, but still really cute! I love Red Iguana I have only been there once, but it was fantastic, I just never make it down to Salt Lake to go there.
I have a baby Souli thinks is scarry too. I don't think she is. I love babies. It so fun to spend time with our dads. I've never been to that restaurant.
Um, sorry Melissa...that doll is creepy. I'm glad you loved it, but I don't think I could sleep in a house with her :(
I'm kind of spooky though..very cute pics of you with dad & hubby!
Melissa,
I agree with Benton the doll is creepy. Kinda reminds me of the chucky doll. Nice to see that you venture agree your home town and take pictures. Jill
