We attended the Race for Grief again for our baby, Allie. I cannot verbally express how much I miss our little girl and wish she was physically here with us. I enjoy thinking about her and devoting a run just for her.
I'm thankful for our family and friends who support us on Memorial Day. It was a beautiful sunny day and spent with those we love. Love you Allie.

A little getaway!
Benton and I jumped on the chance to test out our trailer before we head out on a long week vacation in it with the kids. My mom was AMAZING and came up and stayed the night so we could get away.
We went to dinner and then headed up to our campsite for the night. We camped at a place only 15 minutes away from our house, even though it seems like we are so much farther away. It was so cozy, just the two of us watching a movie together before we went to bed.
We slept in and had a big breakfast and then headed back home. It was a quick getaway but was so much fun. I'm lucky to have a partner in life that I adore and love spending time with. Love you Benton.

Catching up!
It has been a quiet month around here. Not much going on.
We are all LOVING the warmer Spring weather. The kids play outside as much as they can.
The girls are having fun playing with friends and they can't wait till Summer comes! They keep begging me to set up the pool, however it did snow this past week so its not quite warm enough yet.
I'm training for a half marathon and get out for a long run each week. My friend, Ashely and I are running it again together. We ran 10 miles the other night. I'm so glad I have someone to train with! Only 3 weeks until the big race!
One night I was meeting my friend for dinner, so i took the kids early so we could shop and walk around City Creek for a bit. My girls LOVE the mall, it's kinda scary because I know they'll just love it so much more as they get older!
It's been a good month and I know June is going to be so much better with no school!

Happy 2nd Birthday Lincoln!
2 years ago since Mr. Lincoln joined our family. He has been such a joy for all of us.
I took him to his 2 year old check up and he weighs 26.05 lbs and is in the 70th percentile for his weight. And he is 35 inches and is in the 50th percentile for his age for height. He physically is doing really well and doesn't need to get a check up for another year!
He still loves to eat and pretty much will try anything. He surprisingly likes spicy foods. I'm always amazed at what this boy eats, so different from our girls!
He naps once a day for about 2 hours. He has been known to climb out of his crib so sometime this year I'm sure we will put him into a big boy bed. But for now, he stays in his crib!
He loves to wear masks and pretend his a different animal or dinosaur.
He is my little sidekick. Loves to be where I am. He cries if I walk out of the room. He's always one step behind me. 100% a mamas boy, and I love it! He's still obsessed with sticking his hand down my shirt, I asked his doctor about it and she said that's normal and he could continue doing that for a year after he stopped nursing.
We threw him a birthday party and he was smiling, laughing and being the life of the party. Mr. show off! He loved all his presents, he had a hard time opening another one because he wanted to just play with the one he had just opened. Thankfully my girls helped him move it along.
We ate cake and ice-cream. I always make a small cake just for him and then cupcakes for everyone else. I found a cute idea on Pinterest for Mickey Mouse cupcakes and they turned out rather cute! He loved everyone singing to him. He kept blowing out his candles before we could finish singing to him. Benton kept lighting them up and he kept blowing them out. He was all smiles!
All in all it was there perfect birthday! Thank you to all that came and supported us! Can't wait to see what is in store for him this year as a 2 year old!

Girls weekend away!
Me and a couple of my girlfriends from Jr.High and High School snuck away for a few days to St.George for the weekend. I LOVE having friends who will get away and do something for ourselves. I'm pretty lucky to have stayed friends with these girls for so long.
We had the best time. We enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather, tried new restaurants, ran 7 miles, got a facial and a massage, went shopping and spent one day at Zions. It was just what we all needed!
Hopefully we can sneak away again soon!

Happy Easter!
We've been busy this Easter weekend with birthday parties, so we didn't get around to doing an easter egg hunt. So I decided to do one in our backyard and the kids loved it and honestly they don't know any different.
And on Easter morning they woke up excited to find their Easer baskets!
And of course any excuse to get them all dolled up is great for me!
Later on we drove down to my parents for dinner and dying eggs! I love that my mom always does it at her house because my kids look forward to it every year!
It finally feels like Spring is officially here and we couldn't be happier!
