2 years ago since Mr. Lincoln joined our family. He has been such a joy for all of us.
I took him to his 2 year old check up and he weighs 26.05 lbs and is in the 70th percentile for his weight. And he is 35 inches and is in the 50th percentile for his age for height. He physically is doing really well and doesn't need to get a check up for another year!
He still loves to eat and pretty much will try anything. He surprisingly likes spicy foods. I'm always amazed at what this boy eats, so different from our girls!
He naps once a day for about 2 hours. He has been known to climb out of his crib so sometime this year I'm sure we will put him into a big boy bed. But for now, he stays in his crib!
He loves to wear masks and pretend his a different animal or dinosaur.
He is my little sidekick. Loves to be where I am. He cries if I walk out of the room. He's always one step behind me. 100% a mamas boy, and I love it! He's still obsessed with sticking his hand down my shirt, I asked his doctor about it and she said that's normal and he could continue doing that for a year after he stopped nursing.
We threw him a birthday party and he was smiling, laughing and being the life of the party. Mr. show off! He loved all his presents, he had a hard time opening another one because he wanted to just play with the one he had just opened. Thankfully my girls helped him move it along.
We ate cake and ice-cream. I always make a small cake just for him and then cupcakes for everyone else. I found a cute idea on Pinterest for Mickey Mouse cupcakes and they turned out rather cute! He loved everyone singing to him. He kept blowing out his candles before we could finish singing to him. Benton kept lighting them up and he kept blowing them out. He was all smiles!
All in all it was there perfect birthday! Thank you to all that came and supported us! Can't wait to see what is in store for him this year as a 2 year old!
