2 years ago since Mr. Lincoln joined our family. He has been such a joy for all of us.
I took him to his 2 year old check up and he weighs 26.05 lbs and is in the 70th percentile for his weight. And he is 35 inches and is in the 50th percentile for his age for height. He physically is doing really well and doesn't need to get a check up for another year!
He still loves to eat and pretty much will try anything. He surprisingly likes spicy foods. I'm always amazed at what this boy eats, so different from our girls!
He naps once a day for about 2 hours. He has been known to climb out of his crib so sometime this year I'm sure we will put him into a big boy bed. But for now, he stays in his crib!
He loves to wear masks and pretend his a different animal or dinosaur.
He is my little sidekick. Loves to be where I am. He cries if I walk out of the room. He's always one step behind me. 100% a mamas boy, and I love it! He's still obsessed with sticking his hand down my shirt, I asked his doctor about it and she said that's normal and he could continue doing that for a year after he stopped nursing.
We threw him a birthday party and he was smiling, laughing and being the life of the party. Mr. show off! He loved all his presents, he had a hard time opening another one because he wanted to just play with the one he had just opened. Thankfully my girls helped him move it along.
We ate cake and ice-cream. I always make a small cake just for him and then cupcakes for everyone else. I found a cute idea on Pinterest for Mickey Mouse cupcakes and they turned out rather cute! He loved everyone singing to him. He kept blowing out his candles before we could finish singing to him. Benton kept lighting them up and he kept blowing them out. He was all smiles!
All in all it was there perfect birthday! Thank you to all that came and supported us! Can't wait to see what is in store for him this year as a 2 year old!

Girls weekend away!
Me and a couple of my girlfriends from Jr.High and High School snuck away for a few days to St.George for the weekend. I LOVE having friends who will get away and do something for ourselves. I'm pretty lucky to have stayed friends with these girls for so long.
We had the best time. We enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather, tried new restaurants, ran 7 miles, got a facial and a massage, went shopping and spent one day at Zions. It was just what we all needed!
Hopefully we can sneak away again soon!

Happy Easter!
We've been busy this Easter weekend with birthday parties, so we didn't get around to doing an easter egg hunt. So I decided to do one in our backyard and the kids loved it and honestly they don't know any different.
And on Easter morning they woke up excited to find their Easer baskets!
And of course any excuse to get them all dolled up is great for me!
Later on we drove down to my parents for dinner and dying eggs! I love that my mom always does it at her house because my kids look forward to it every year!
It finally feels like Spring is officially here and we couldn't be happier!

Spring Break!
We were busy, busy, busy this Spring break. Cambree had 9 days off of school and she's more than ready to go back!
Our Nanny Linda came and stayed with us for 5 days and we kept busy. We went shopping, played outside, ate yummy food, and went and saw Beauty & the Beast. We had so much fun and we love that she came and stayed with us.
Lots of playing outside and of course at the park!
Also, Benton got surgery on Thursday and he is doing really well. I didn't take any picture of him since he wouldn't appreciate that much but he's recovering and laying low. So the other half of our Spring break was a bit more boring than the first part. However they still got to play with cousins and I took them to McDonalds to play in the play place.
So to kill time, I let them play in the bath, which they love.
I also did the cutest photoshoot last night and took Mr. Lincoln along for the ride (Benton wasn't quite up to watching him yet). I decided since it was a few minutes away I would let him sit in Addison's carseat (he gets to forward face in a few weeks). Seeing his cute little face in my rear view mirror made me smile. I ended up pulling over and taking a picture of him with my camera. I sure love him.
I have to say I am exhausted and am ready to send Cambree and Addison back to school so I can get back into my regular routine.
