Moon Lake

We left for Moon Lake on the girls birthday. So that morning we stopped by and visited Allie since we would be out of town. We brought donuts and sang "Happy Birthday" to them both.

Afterwards we were on our four hour drive to Moon Lake in the Uinta's. Let me tell you, it was worth the drive. It was my favorite campground that we've gone to, so extremely beautiful.

We stayed for three nights and did a lot of different activities. We rented a boat for three hours one day and took the girls fishing. Cambree as always loved riding on the boat and trying to catch fish. Addie however was exhausted and kept almost falling asleep on me.

Thanks to our Nanny's advice, we brought paints and let the girls paint rocks...it was a hit!

Taking walks was one of my favorite things to do because it was unbelievably pretty.

We also spent a lot of our time playing at the beach at the lake. Addie however didn't like the sand after the storm since it was really wet and made you sink when you stood in it.

On the last night we stayed it stormed pretty bad and we woke up to snow in the mountains. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to.

We decided this location would be our yearly tradition. Cambree asked Benton "Dad, can we come here every time?!" That tells you just how much we all loved it. We will be back next year for sure!
