Spring Break!!!

This past weekend we decided to drive down to Beaver Dam to visit Benton's mom & step-dad. We were a little nervous about the drive down but both girls did fairly well. Only a little crying. When we stopped for lunch, Addie was all smiles to get out of the car.

We arrived Friday afternoon to a sunny 85 degrees in Beaver Dam. We hadn't seen Tony & Linda since Christmas so we were all happy to see each other.

Cambree of course found their water fountain. She played with the rocks and the water and would line them up and count them. She found them quite entertaining, so they just let her play with them.

Since it was so nice we decided to go swimming at the pool. The girls needed to play after the long drive. They both loved it!

On Saturday we went shopping a little bit in St. George and afterwards went to the pool to swim again.

It was our first time going anywhere as a family since we had Addie and Allie. We enjoyed just sitting around relaxing, it has been way too long since we've had some down time.

On Saturday night Nanny helped Cambree dye eggs. Cambree had never done it before and with her egg obsession it was a dream come true for her. She was concentrating so hard to make them beautiful.

Cambree woke up at 5:45am on Easter. The first words out of her mouth to Benton were "the Easter bunny came!" She was so excited to look for her Easter basket and eggs. I still love how she uses her hands as binoculars to find things.

Addie just sat there and watched Cambree run around.

Cambree loved finding her basket.

We all got in our "Easter best" to get a family picture.

We decided since the girls loved swimming we should take them back. Cambree was all smiles the whole time we were there.

Benton went golfing at Falcon Ridge. He golfed the first 9 holes by himself and I joined him for the last 9 holes. I just sat in the golf cart since the course was a little too hard for me. It was a beautiful day to golf besides the wind. But it was nice to have some one on one time doing something together. I sure do love my husband.

We left early this morning. Thirty minutes into our drive both girls fell asleep, I guess they were worn out from all the fun we had.

I am jealous! I can't wait for that kind of weather. Looks like you had a blast. You're girls are so darn cute. And I love your long hair. I think it grew so fast.

You get the most amazing pictures of your girls! They are so photogenic...they get that from their beautiful mamma! That picture of the sky on the golf course is INSANE. WOW!!! Looks like a fun trip :)
