We met up with some of our neighbors to go trick or treating as a group. My neighborhood is so much fun. There was hot dogs, hot chocolate, popcorn being popped, hot fresh donuts...I know I could hardly believe it myself! I'm glad they go all out for Halloween, it sure does make fun memories for all the kids.

 

Cambree loved trick or treating, she was really excited to go to the next house. And she loved dumping all her candy out and looking at all her goods!

Addie

Our little one is almost 2.5 months old! We went to the doctor today for her check up and shots. She's obviously still small but is growing rather well. No worries from us or her doctors! I don't mind having her so small because the newborn stage always goes by way too quickly for me.

We love our little addition to our family. It's crazy it's been 10 weeks already since we had the girls. I have to show this picture, it's one of my favorites of Addison at the hospital. It's the first time meeting her daddy. I love her eye contact with Benton, it just melts my heart.

 

Aimee of course took her newborn photos when she was 2 weeks old. They are absolutely beautiful. Aimee captures people in photographs that amazes me. Thanks Aimee!

Pumpkin Carving!

We attempted to carve pumpkins tonight. Surprisingly in the 8.5 years we've been married I think we may have only done it once, so we haven't had too much practice.

Cambree was a little unsure of it all. She said "Ewweewww..." the whole time.

 

She didn't want to touch the guts but enjoyed getting out all the seeds with a spoon.

 

 

 

Since she couldn't cut her own we let her color her pumpkin, which she loved!

 

All done! If you can't tell Benton's pumpkin has an owl and mine has ghosts on it!

Happy Halloween!

First Snow Fall

Isn't the first sight of snow beautiful? It makes me want to light a fire in the fireplace, turn on Christmas music and drink hot chocolate. I didn't put a fire on or drink hot chocolate but I have to admit I listened to Christmas music. I normally never listen to it till after Thanksgiving but I thought what they heck, I love it and who cares if I enjoy it?

Cambree was beyond thrilled to see snow. We put on her gloves, hat and snow boots and off she went. I think we're going to have a winter full of playing outside!

Addison got a warm bath while we watched Cam play in the snow.

 

I think we're going to spend the day inside cuddling, I mean who wouldn't want to snuggle with her?
