Our Backyard

When we bought our house our inspector told us we needed a new retaining wall. We tried to work it into the deal of us buying our house, but it didn't work out. In April we hired a company to tear down our existing wall and replace it so that it was sturdy and our neighbors yard wouldn't fall into ours.

We had the wood railroad ties holding up the wall before....

Our yard was an absolute mess for weeks...

We had some delays because of snow as well...

But now we are able to go outside and enjoy our beautiful new retaining wall.

And the biggest, most needed section our new 8 foot wall.

I'm glad it's all done!

Your yard is really pretty! It looks so relaxing and cozy, love the new wall and new steps. I bet it's nice to check that off the list huh?

In answer to your question me and Teri are fraternal. Though people always think we are identical because we look so much alike. Are yours identical, I can't remember? Either way I am just so excited for you and them, being a twin is the best. A built in friend for life, it's even different than just sisters. I full believe in twin intuition, I swear at times we can read each others minds. Too fun.
