Stats are in!

Cambree went to her 18 month check up this past Wednesday and we got her stats.

She weighs exactly 19 pounds, still in the 0% and is in the 50% for height. Her doctor asked if she was still in a rear facing car seat and I told her I just barley switched her to a front facing car seat and she kinda got upset with me. She said that kids now should be in a rear facing car seat till they were 2. Did anyone else hear the same thing from their pediatrician?

Cambree is loving her new house and is a busy little girl! I had to show these to you guys. She's been brushing her teeth, this is new to us because she has just gotten teeth during the last 3 months. I love when she brushes her own teeth, such a big girl!

My doctor said they're trying to make it mandatory for kids to be rear-facing until 2, but he told us to go ahead and switch Matt. I think the people who are pushing for it don't have kids under 2 - they'd go CRAZY trying to keep the kiddo happy!
Cambree is certainly a doll...growing up too quickly, though! Must be time for another one. ;)

I've heard the same thing about rear facing. We switched both Jayden and Casey at 1, they were both at the wieght requirement. Casey was SO big he was falling out of the rear facing.

I think through all the years of mandatory things with kids, you're the parent and unless they make it a LAW it's your choice.

Besides, my mom tells me back in the days..kids just sat on laps and NO car seats at all. Ü

She's a cutie!
