This past weekend my cute sister in law Kattie came back to Utah to visit. She moved to Texas in April, while Benton and I were living in Illinois. We hadn't seen her since last Thanksgiving, it's been WAY too long! We decided all us girls needed to get together and have a girls night. I was seriously excited, I am definitely one of those people who love doing things with family. We ate dinner at Calfiornia Pizza Kitchen, so yummy!
This is Aimee and Kate at dinner, aren't they both so beautiful?!
And of course the beautiful Carol and myself...
After stuffing our faces and chatting we went and saw Breaking Dawn. We've gone every year since Twilight came out. We laughed and had a great time in the theater, yes we might have been a little obnoxious...but to our defense there were some funny parts. I know I say this all time, but I can't express how much I love my sisters in law. Every time I am with them, I am so thankful I married into their family. I love each of them so much and am so glad they took me in as one of them.
Kate was able to come over Monday morning and hang out with me all day long. We just sat around, let the kids play while we talked, and for lunch we made yummy Panini's with my George Foreman Grill (I am so happy Kate showed me that I didn't need to buy a Panini Maker!). We went to the park to let the kids play, I love when we can still play outside in November!
Cache, Cambree and Cohen...
Kate put Cambree and Cohen in the swing together, Cambree thought it was pretty fun!
Cambree still loves the swing, she pretty much giggles the whole time.
That night we had Benton's dad and Marie over for dinner, I didn't get any pictures. But it was nice all being together for a couple hours. Kate slept over and left in the morning.
Cambree and Cohen loved saying goodbye, not sure why they enjoyed kissing each other so much? It was really cute, they kept giving each other kisses over and over. They must have missed each other!
Such a great time with family! More family time this weekend, I can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Our family has so much to be thankful for this year. I am so thankful for Benton, who works so hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home with Cambree. He truly is my best friend. I am also thankful that I have Cambree, she is the light of my life. She makes me happier than I ever expected, I love her with all my heart. Oh and I love you Benton with all of my heart too! How couldn't you love this face...
It was so nice to be back in Utah for Thanksgiving! We drove up to Benton's dads house. Since we made plans with them, I couldn't stop thinking about today...I was just so excited!
Before we left I had Benton take a picture of Cambree and I, good thing since it was the only one taken of me today.
We arrived early so we could hang out before we ate our feast! Cambree loves to play with this glass cat that Marie has in her living room. I'm not sure if she understands that it's fake because she will sit there and pet it.
I couldn't wait for dinner, I was starving. And of course when we walked in their house it smelled so delicious, I was ready to eat! Dave and Marie are some of the best cooks that I know. Unless you've had their cooking you wouldn't understand how good it is. EVERY SINGLE THING IS DELICIOUS! You can taste the love they put in their food.
Here they are in the kitchen before we ate...
I didn't even get a picture of all our food, I was too hungry and forgot. I must say that it met every expectation that I had. SO YUMMY!
We are so happy to live so close to Dave and Marie. I know Cambree will be able to be close to her grandparents now that we live closer.
Here's grandpa, Benton and Miss Cambree
Cambree of course got some good snuggling time with Grandpa...
She loves to snuggle with grandma as well, but I didn't get a picture :(
It was such an enjoyable Thanksgiving. I hope you all had as good as a day as I did. Thanks Dave and Marie, we love you very much!

Nighty Night!
One of my favorite parts each night is after dinner. We give Cambree a bath and snuggle with her once she gets out. Then we put her in pj's (which is my favorite thing for her to wear). Once she's all cozy, we play with her usually in her room for about an hour.
We read books...
She reads books...
Play peek a boo...
Let her play with her toys...
Hide and seek...
We pick on her by putting her blankie on her head...
We take Roxy outside so Cambree can play on the swing...
She snuggles with her baby. She holds them and says "ohhh..." over and over, so cute!
Benton and I usually are laying on the ground while she jumps on us and giggles. I love every moment of our nightly ritual. And of course we kiss her till she gets annoyed with us.
Love you baby girl, goodnight!

Rough Week
On Tuesday Cambree woke up with a temperature, it only got up to 104.6 (which is normal for her). Cambree has been sick for a month now and this was the final straw for me. I called the doctor and made her an appointment for Wednesday. Tuesday was a rough night, she just didn't feel good.
She ended up in bed with mommy and daddy.
On Wednesday when I took her into the Dr, she said everything looked fine. She didn't have an ear infection, her chest sounded fine, no sore throat, oxygen levels were good....so why had she been sick for a whole month? They ended up prescribing her amoxicillin to get rid of whatever was lingering in her body. When I took her to the appointment she didn't have a temperature, granted I had given her Tylenol earlier that morning. After she woke up from her afternoon nap, I could tell it had risen. I gave her some medicine since it had been 3 hours and then took her temperature. It was 106. Yes, you read that right. I called her Dr office, who didn't answer, so I left a message to have someone call me ASAP. I then texted Benton who said get her in the bath tub right that minute. So I gave her a luke warm bath, afterwards it had dropped to 103.7, much better! Her doctors office called me about 2 hours after and asked what her temperature was. The nurse thought I might have said 100.6, I clarified, no, 1.0.6. That was with a digital rectal thermometer, so it was accurate. Way too high. They agreed with me that waking her up in the night to give her medicine was good for me to do. Normally, sleep breaks a temperature but in Cambrees case I didn't want to risk it going back up to 106.
I set my alarm clock and jumped out of bed every 3 hours. Luckily on Thursday she had a lower temperature in the 103's. I can handle that.
I have to share this story because it just shows how much in love she is with her blankets. I started a bath for her and while the water was running I was cleaning up my make up in the sink. Cambree said "Uh oh..." I looked over and saw her blanket in the tub. Ya, uh oh is right. I decided it was ok for her to bathe with it since she wasn't feeling good anyway. Bad idea. Once she was all ready to get out I said "leave your blankie in the tub, I'll get you another one."
This was her reply...so sad!
Even looking at that picture makes me sad. She was so upset. Don't worry after I wrapped her up in her towel I got her another blanket that was the same feel as the one in her tub.
All better...
Cambree's temperature broke on Friday and she is back to her normal self. Sick little ones are the worst!
