Benton had Cambree sit on his lap to pet Aimee's new puppy Luke, and of course Roxy had to sniff out her new competition!
Carol showed Cambree her camper and she lite up, she was so excited to see us outside the window.
Cambree had so much fun with all her cousins. It was nice to just let her go off and play with them. Kenna, loves kids and was so wonderful to Cambree the whole time.
Cambree loved to play in the sand, she was pretty dirty after she was all done. Who cares if your dirty when you're camping, that's the way it's suppose to be!

Nanny Linda brought everyone up sandwiches for lunch. It was nice all being together and just hanging out.

Last night we had hot dogs rolled up in crescent rolls, I think the best part was watching them cook in the fire :)
I have to admit, I am not a camper at all (Benton grew up camping, so he really enjoys it). I love the idea of camping, but actually doing it...well it's just not my thing. But I loved sitting with everyone by the fire. We of course had to get a family picture!

Cambree is becoming more and more dramatic. She threw a fit and here she is the next minute with daddy...yes she's laughing her head off.

We left about 8:30pm and drove to the Hampton Inn. Like I said, I'm not much of a camping girl. This morning Cambree's hair was out of control. Somehow every morning her hair looks like this...
It seriously is crazy. After a yummy breakfast at the hotel, we took a dip in the pool. When we walked in, Cambree said "WOW!"
She giggled the whole time, kicking her legs for joy. And she was able to snuggle with daddy...
Such a fun time with the family, I could seriously hang out with them every weekend. Love you all!

Oh Melissa, you are missing out! Camping is SO much fun!!!! It's so funny that you guys left the campsite and headed to a Hampton Inn, that's hilarious. I suppose it isn't for everyone - I just love it so much I can't wrap my mind around that!
Cambree is getting so big, she's so darling and looks like she's having so much fun with her cousins. What a great day!

Love the idea of it, hate the actual doing it. Though the food is definitely the best part, how are those starbursts I always hear of people doing that but have never tried it.
I love love love that you went and stayed at a hotel instead, now that's the best of both worlds!
That is so much fun...I don't blame you one tiny little bit for hitting up the hotel. That is definitely my idea of roughing it. A roof over my head with a bed and shower...yes siree.
Cambree is just so cute, I just noticed how much hair she is getting. So cute!
