I couldn't be happier that it's a LONG weekend. I know I've seen Benton as much as I normally would living in Illinois but for some reason it feels different? I'm just glad I have him home for 3 days in a row!
So to start off the weekend, Benton's mom and step-dad drove down to see our new home. They hadn't seen Cambree walk yet, so it was pretty fun for them to see her walking around. She of course had to show them all her fun toys!
Us girlies...
We went to lunch to the Blue Plate Diner. Every time I've driven by it's always packed, so of course I wanted to try it.
They've been rated as the best place for breakfast in SLC from 2003-2009 and I will say it was a pretty dang good omlet, yummy!
Thanks for coming down and spending a couple hours with us :)
Afterwards, we drove up to Park City to look at some bookshelves that we found from KSL. They lived way up in the mountains, it was beautiful!
We ended up buying them and finally unpacked our office, it feels so much better now!
Tonight we were going to have leftovers for dinner, until I looked at them in the fridge. Do you ever look at your leftovers and feel a little sick to your stomach? It doesn't happen to me very often but it did tonight, so we loaded up and drove over to Cafe Rio...you can't go wrong there!
And lastly we ended up at Home Depot looking for a good deal on a new grill since we sold ours. Unfortunately there weren't any good sales that we were hoping for. But we did find a great way to carry Cambree though the store.
Have a great Labor Day!

Oh man I laughed and laughed at Cambree in the bucket, if that's not funny! She has the cutest expression on her face like she just knows she is so cute!
And yes leftovers gross me out all the time, in fact nine times out of ten I end up tossing the whole tupperware so I don't have to rinse the nasty thing out. Or I just make Eric do it!
Cafe Rio was a good choice I say!
That picture of her eating the beans is awesome and the bucket photos! One of my favorite posts from you!
Oh Cambree in the bucket....that is funny and quite priceless.
those bookshelves are darling, good buy, I love them. And yeah that omelet looks pretty dang good. Laughed at your comment about leftovers. That always happens to me actually. I try so hard to be a good girl and just eat it and not spend the extra money. Sometimes I am good, and sometimes I'm not..Cafe Rio is always a better alternative. haha.
Cambree in that bucket totally cracks me up! That is so adorable! What a sweet little girl!
