On Saturday I took Benton on a secret date. He knew we had plans but he just didn't know what they were. Benton has worked really hard and has accomplished a lot, so I wanted him to know how proud I was of all his hard work.
Chelsie was nice enough to take care of Cambree while we went on our date, thank goodness for cute sisters!
Benton and I off to our surprise destination...
If any of you know Benton, you know that he LOVES golf. It's his "other wife". So I took him to The Old Mill Golf Course in Holladay. It over looks the valley and has such a pretty view!
Benton was able to putt around for a couple minutes before we played. Practice is very important to golfers. As you can tell I was taking pictures :)
We were paired up with 2 older men. But after the first hole they decided to skip ahead of us. If you don't understand why, it's because of me. Yes, I am a horrible golfer and after they saw me attempt to hit the ball and miss it they left us. Kinda embarrassing for me, but more one on one time with my honey.
About halfway through it started to rain. Not my kind of weather. Sure looked pretty though!
Benton is an amazing golfer. His final score was a 35, 1 below par. And as for me, well I stopped keeping track. Good game Bent!
Afterwards my plan was dinner but it was only 4pm and we weren't hungry yet and we didn't need to be back to Chelsie's till 6:30pm so we drove up to Park City. Benton really has needed some nice work clothes, so off to Banana Republic we went. They were having a really good sale, Benton got 3 pairs of pants, a dress shirt, 2 belts and 3 pairs of socks. He deserved to be spoiled. I did get a cute sweater for this fall as well! We made it back in time to get Wendy's for dinner.
I love you babe!

Love the beautiful picture of the golf course in the rain, those are gorgeous!
haha..kinda funny about the golf thing. I am sure it was a little embarrasing for you, but it makes for a funny story. And that was really thoughtful of you.
