Our friends...

One of the best things I have LOVED about Illinois is our sweet neighbors. I cried leaving them. Honestly I didn't mind leaving the girls I met, don't get me wrong they are all very nice and sweet but I just don't have that closeness like I do with Barb. She has been such a great friend to me and I have enjoyed every minute with her.

I love watching both Barb and Chuck with Cambree. They are seriously in love with her. Cambree is really spoiled every time we go over to their house. She gets so much attention. Last week when I went over to visit with them, Cambree climbed into Barb's lap and wanted Barb to read to her. I wish you could have seen Barb's face, she was literally in heaven. She said "My cup runneth over..." She was so delighted that Cambree would climb into her lap. It made my heart hurt as well just knowing that we wouldn't live close to them anymore.

Barb's cousin Joan was in town so we all thought it would be fun to take a stroll around our zoo. It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors!
Here's the crew...

Cambree was afraid again of the sheep, she just doesn't like the noise they make.

Aren't these flowers gorgeous?

Once I let Cambree out of her stroller she thought she was the tour guide...

We have had a lot of fun moments with Barb and Chuck. I enjoyed the dinners that we shared as well as all of our conversations. Barb gave me the sweetest note before we left, I will cherish our time with them forever.

They look so sweet.

I bet little Cambree loved her surrogate grandparents, how special for both them and her.

Have you guys moved it, are you here in Utah?

This post made me giggle and made me super sad. I love your zoo "crew" you would make the best neighbor and I am happy you found the best neighbor too. I still think about you having the table set by noon:)

That is so neat that you made friends with people who are older. I love spending time with my grandparents and hearing all of their stories and life expiriences. Glad to have you back in Utah but sorry you'll miss your sweet friends.
