Cambree got a temperature that lasted all day last Wednesday till this Monday morning. It was a long 5 days! She pretty much slept all day long, it was so sad. You could tell how miserable she felt.
I took her to the doctor last Wednesday after talking to my sister Karly. I kept describing how different Cambree was acting and she reminded me that when they are acting not like they normally do when they are sick that's when you should take them into the Doctor. So I took her advice. After I had an emotional breakdown because her doctors office wouldn't let me talk to a nurse, Cambree and I went to a new doctor's office. She ended up having a sore throat and had a really high temperature. 105.6 was the hottest she ever got, it was like the life was sucked out of her. She didn't enjoy anything, she cried while eating a fudge-bar... yep, you read that right! She cried bathing, she pretty much cried unless you were holding her. So that's what we did, a lot of cuddling.

Thankfully she is back to her normal self! I hate it when she gets sick, I feel so helpless, hopefully since the weather is getting warmer she won't get sick for a while.

This breaks my heart! Isn't it the worst when they are sick? No fun! Hope she is back on the up and up for your sake and hers!
At least she can still rock a braclet when she has a fever, sick little diva:) So happy she feels better, sick kids makes for miserable paretns too, the whole family can celebrate now! Maybe a trip to texas, yes I am sure that is what Cambree ordered for her getting better party:)
Oh how sad does that little sweetheart look in these pictures, how heartbreaking. Isn't it so frustrating to get sick this late in the season. The flu that's going around our family is making me nuts, it's May!! You are so sweet by the way thanks for the comment. Honestly I was really quite freaked out about blacking out. I couldn't stop crying for like an hour. My mind just kept thinking what if it had been worse with only little Luke there. So scary...

Oh Melissa, the little sweetheart looks just so sad! I'm glad you got into a new doctor, sorry about the breakdown! That would be really hard. I'm glad Cambree is feeling better, being sick sucks! The only good part about it with kids is all the cuddling, but even then it would be better if they just felt good!
Oh my gosh, her fever was so high. I can't believe that her doctor wouldn't let you talk to a nurse, I would have switched too. She is sure lucky to have such a good Mommy to take care of her.

Ah, sweet girl. That is heartbreaking, you can just tell how miserable she is. Sick kids stress me out, I am glad she is on the mend. For your sake and hers.
So Happy she is back to her growling self. Her nan Linda sure misses her.
Poor baby! Casey woke up this morning with a crib full of puke :( I swear Jayden was never this sick. He's been pretty fussy today and walking around with his blanket waiting for someone to hold him. Glad he's feeling better.
