New Year here we come!

Happy New Year everyone! I am so excited to begin 2011! We had huge changes in our lives in 2010...Benton graduated from college, we had our little Miss Cambree, I dropped down to a 20 hour position at America First, quit my job and moved across the country to Illinois...can't imagine what 2011 will hold for our family!

I really enjoyed our New Year's, it's always nice having Benton home for 3 days in a row. On New Year's Eve we relaxed at home in the morning and then we left to go out to lunch, on our way to lunch Dave (my father in law) called me asking how it was here...I said good, rainy but fine...how come? I guess there was a tornado warning in effect til later that night...whoops...we had no idea...here we were driving around, going out to lunch...obviously we need to listen to the news! We made it safe and sound to lunch, and it was really yummy!

That night we stayed home and I made homemade pizza. One of the best things about staying home is being able to cook and try new recipes...this one turned out pretty tasty...

On new year's day we ended up driving about 2 hours away to a city named Sandwich (interesting, I know) we drove their to go to a dealership to look at a truck. We've been considering selling my Vue for a while and after some consideration we decided to do it. Benton has wanted a truck for years, some of you may know this about him he is a truck kind of guy. I always told him after he graduated he could have a truck again, so his wish came true.

I'm really happy with our decision, it's always a hard choice at the time, but I think we both are really happy. It seats 6 so it fits 1 more person than our Vue and I LOVE having a truck for random things you may need to stick in the back!

We came home and I had time to play with my little Miss...

Now, onto my goals for 2011! I feel like if I write them down that I will hold myself accountable to complete the goals...so here we go!

#1 Loose at least 20 lbs (exercise at least 4 times a week, eat right).
#2 Go on a date night at least twice a month with my cute hubby!
#3 Find friends!!!!!
#4 Save money and payoff some debts.

I am ready to complete my goals...just watch me!!!

you already look like you are too thin, what is going on out there?! FUN a new truck, Cory would be so jealous but I am super interested in this seat 6, you'll have to tell me about it :)
