Merry Christmas!!!

This Christmas sure has been different from years past. We really missed being with our family, that's one of my favorite parts of the holiday season, being with family and friends. Even though it wasn't what we're use to we made the best of it, trying to make it our own. Lately I've been thinking of what traditions I want to do with our own family, so on Christmas Eve we had homemade baked potato soup, homemade breadsticks and thick and chewy double chocolate cookies...yummy!!!

After dinner we bundled up with hot cocoa and attempted to drive around our neighborhood to look at everyone's lights...after driving around for at least 30 minutes we only ended up seeing about 10 houses lite...kinda disappointing. But it was still fun.
Cambree all bundled up...

It was dark, but I wanted you all to see how cool the houses are here...I absolutely love them. Old house intrigue me for some reason, I would love to tour all of them and see what's inside. I would love to own an old, antique house around here, they have so much character. Here is one house, sometime during the day I'll have to drive around and take photos...

Merry Christmas Melissa! I got your cute Christmas card - and your pictures turned out so good! Holy toledoes on the breadsticks - those looked YUMMY!!! I like how Cambrie is just chillin as all the excitement unfolds! I too love old hoses, I love the character they have that you don't get in newer houses. Sorry my comment is all over the place - LOVE ya!

P.s. I think you look SO pretty without makeup!

Sounds like a great day. Probably so different for you not doing what you usually do, but it sounds like you made it just perfect. Your breakfast looks super yum, good job!!
