We are moving to Illinois, a town a couple hours away from Chicago. Benton got a job with State Farm, he will be a Database Administrator, which is what he is currently doing. So, we both quit our jobs this past week. I can now stay home with Cambree, no more work for me...yay!
Benton is going to move our stuff out to Illinois with his friend in just 2 weeks! Which means I have a TON of packing to do...not so fun. My house is a disaster, as you know I am a clean freak...so this is hard for me to handle. Luckily I've had a lot of offers to come help me pack or at least watch Cambree while I pack. Having a 5 month old makes it pretty tricky to pack.
I'm not looking forward to this...what a mess!
We still have a ton of decisions ahead of us. We are looking for a home to rent, while we live there. We're not sure how long we will live in Illinois, so we are not going to buy a house til we for sure know how long we will be living there.
I am going to miss everyone so so much. It makes my heart hurt even thinking about moving. I will miss my family and friends so much, it'll be really hard. I just keep telling myself I can call whenever I want, come back and visit and who knows we may move back in a couple of years? I'm just going to listen to my mom and try to stay positive and know it'll be a fun adventure, who knows where it'll take us?

Oh my heck...this is very surprising. The good news is though you get to stay home with Cambree...and that I think makes it all worth it. Can't believe you are leaving, but you will be just fine. It will be sad not bumping into you now and then. Good luck with it all...keep blogging, so we can stay in touch!!!

I think it will be a wonderful experience for your family, and especially you getting to stay at home with Cambree I bet you are so excited for that. Your mom has good advice stay positive, I miss our years in KY so much at times, I almost get envious when I hear of others moving outside of Utah. I would truly do it again in a minute. Good luck and oh do I hate packing too, it's the worst!

Holy Cow! Isnt it crazy where life takes you sometimes! I am so excited for you guys though! Sure I miss my family and such sometimes, but we as a family have learned so much about ourselves living away! And you get to stay home....yeah! I am so excited fro you guys! Cant wait to hear how it is all going! I hate the packing thing too, even with all the boxes all over the place, you have a very cute house!
I am honestly so sad that we didn't end up moving out of Utah. It will be an amazing adventure for your family. My hubby served part of his mission in Chicago and loved living there. I will miss you though, can't wait to see you tonight.
I am still in denial too. It must run in the family ;) I am also telling myself that we can talk on the phone ALL the time, and we will still see each other, its just a plane ride away. I am going to miss you like crazy! I cant imagine not having you here with me. I am happy you wont have to work anymore. This will be a fun adventure for you guys! I'll try and have Tay find a job in Illinos too, then we can live by each other! Love you!
