Here's the babe at 10 Weeks...
I told Benton's dad and step mom, Marie on Halloween,they were really surprised and happy for us. The next day we told Benton's mom, and sisters that we were pregnant, this is how we did it...I asked all of the girls to get a quick photo, once we were all smiling at the camera (Benton was taking the picture) he said 1, 2, 3...Melissa's pregnant! It was fun to catch their reactions on camera...here are some photos from that night...
I told my work at a staff meeting at lunch. I think most of them were shocked, 2 of the girls already knew (they caught on) and was so relieved once they all knew, it was hard to not tell them for 11 weeks...
Benton and I decided to do the photo thing today with my family, I've struggled not telling them, it's been so incredibly hard! We had my grandma's funeral yesterday and waited til this morning to tell them the news....here are their reactions, they were a little slow at understanding what Benton actually said, they just didn't believe it....
Benton and I are ecstatic about being pregnant and finally telling you all the happy news! We'll update you on milestones as we go!

Oh this is so wonderful I am so happy for you both, what great parents you will make. I absolutely love the one you decided to tell your families those pictures are so priceless, the expressions on their faces are perfect, I just love it!
As for the kicking part I didn't feel Lance until about 20 weeks being my first but with both Luke and this baby I felt their first movements about 16 weeks or so just cause you know what to watch for, you will love it it's by far the greatest thing about being pregnant. Congrats again I am thrilled for you!
Melissa, I couldn't be any happier for you guys. Wow. I really am just beaming and I know you will be a KICK BUTT mom. From all the posts with your nephews you looks like you have that special touch for children, I can only imagine what it will be like with you own! I am so excited to read all about the fun little events as you go! Congrats :0) Secondly, can I just tell you I think you are the CUTEST dresser that I know! I love ALL of your darling outfits I always see in your pictures, you are going to be the cutest pregnant girl! LOVE YOU!
AAHHHH...Melissa, oh my goodness. I am soooo excited for you guys. I can already tell what awesome parents the two of you are going to make. Congratulations, I love it...could not be happening to two cuter parents to be. YAY!!

Oh that is so great. I'm so excited for you. Its the greatest joy in the world. I misst that feeling of having a baby growing inside me. You feel so special I'm sure. I hope you are feeling okay. Such exciting news.
