A first for St. Patrick's Day!

Addison lost her first tooth yesterday! She was so excited to have the tooth fairy come and bring her a golden dollar. She even left the tooth fairy a letter. I love our little 5 year old and wish she wasn't growing up so fast!

Weekend at the Cabin

We were able to go up to our cabin and do some more work on it. It's only 3.5 hours away and it was the perfect drive up since they all fell asleep!

We are finally getting close to being done for now. We finished painting the downstairs and then we had Kattie (Benton's sister) and her family come stay for the weekend. Jason and Benton were able to tile the mudroom and hall and it looks amazing! Kate and I entertained the kids while our husbands were busy. I feel so lucky they live back here in Utah. Our kids are adorable with one another and it makes me so happy. I will post more pics once we have lighting and it's complete! But it looks so much better than it did!

We were also able to go sledding, the kids all had a blast!

Hopefully next time we can go up and not work and just play!

Our February

Our February wasn't all that interesting. We've been working hard at at the cabin remodeling it and we usually are their most weekends! Our fridge was broken for 2 weeks straight and we lived out of a cooler. It was pretty annoying and I couldn't be more happier when we got it working again! Other than that not a whole lot happened. Here's a few highlights though!

Cambree had a fever for 5 days straight with no other symptoms. She was so sad because she couldn't go to school. She stayed home the whole week and got lots of snuggles from Scout.

As you can tell Scout is pretty much the center of attention and gets smothered all day long! He loves to sit on my shoulders when we are in the car and it drives me bonkers!!! I always am pulling him down.

I caught Addison doing Lincoln's hair with a bunch of bows and of course I had to catch it on camera!

Licnoln had surgery on his hydrocele at Primary Children's Hospital. He has had his hydrocele for about 14 months now. Thankfully it was an in and out procedure and he did fabulous! They warned us he would most likely would be a grouch and throw huge fits after surgery since he's only two years old and they don't know how to express their feelings at that age. But to our surprise he was happy as could be. Both Benton and I were shocked at how happy and well he did. He's still recovering but should be completely normal in a months time.

Other than that not a lot happened. I'm ready for March to be here so Spring can come!

Jr. Jazz

Cambree is enrolled in Jr. Jazz and plays weekly. It has been so fun watching her practice and play at her games. Benton had the opportunity to coach the last game since her regular coach was out of town. Cambree is a pretty agressive player. We had to talk to her about elbowing people and slapping the ball out of other players hands. One of the games she made two shots and was over the moon excited. I'm glad she's willing to try new things and go out of her comfort zone!

Welcome to the Family!

We added a new family member. His name is Scout and he is a mini Goldendoodle. He weighed 4.8 lbs when we got him and he's just the cutest little guy. The kids are obsessed with him and are having so much fun playing with him. Roxy who will be 13 this year, just kinda follows him around. Thankfully they've been pretty good with one another. We are so excited we added him to our family, he's getting more than enough love.

Star Valley Ranch

Over Martin Luther King Day we headed up to our cabin. My sister, Chelsie and her family were able to come up for one of the days and hang out with us. We went sledding and it was our first time that we were able to go this year since we haven't had enough snow in Utah. We all had so much fun taking turns going down the hill, everyone was worn out afterwards!

One of my favorite things about the cabin is just the quality time we spend together. At home it seems we get busy doing this and that and at the cabin it's much slower and we just hang with one another more.

Our little ballerina

New Year, new adventures! Recently we rented the movie "Leap" Addison loved it so much she insisted on taking ballet. So I signed her up and she goes every Thursday afternoon. She dances her little heart out and it's so fun watching her learn something new. She has a recital in May and I can't wait to watch her preform!

Ringing in the New Year!

We are pretty boring for New Years, but our kids don't really udnerstnad the holiday yet so I guess it doesn't really matter. We just hung around, ate and watched movies. The kids decided to play in the snow and build a snowman. I loved looking out the window and finding out they made Benton and I as snowmans. Pretty creative, my favorite is my little ponytail on the top of my head!

Also we gave Lincoln a fresh new haircut. Well benton cut it and I held him. He looks pretty dang cute!

Happy New Years, we can't wait to see what 2018 brings!

Welcome to the Family!

On the 27th, Kattie's doctors induced her into labor. She has 4 boys already and is having a girl! Thankfully I was in the area so I drove over with my kids and helped watch the boys while they went to the hospital. We ended up coming back the next day and slept over with all the crazies. My girls were excited to have a sleepover with their cousins. And I'm so glad we live so close by that we could help!

She finally arrived on the 28th! Welcome to the family Everly Kate, we love you already!
