Lincoln is 15 months old and the most adorable little guy! He weighs 21 pounds 4.5 ounces and is in the 25th percentile for his age group. He is 30.2 inches tall and is in the 15th percentile for height in his age group. He doesn't say much quite yet but he can say: "hi", "dada", and "what's that?". Oddly enough he quit saying "mama" I keep trying to remind him but it's not working. He can wave and give high fives and kisses on demand. We think he's pretty dang cute.
I took him to Primary Childrens Hospital for an eye exam a few weeks ago. His pediatricians office said they thought one of his eyes was off a degree or two at his 12 month check up. Thankfully everything came back good, his eyes are perfectly straight. He however has an astigmatism that we will have to watch to make sure it doesn't cause any vision problems. It was a long 3 hour appointment and I'm glad we are all done with it!
He is still the best eater. He LOVES any type of food. He still nurses about 4 times a day, he's going to really struggle when I try to wean him off.
The girls are still gaga all over him. There's still a lot of kissing & snuggling going on around here and I doubt it will stop anytime soon!
He's a busy little guy and likes to explore and get into everything. He does the funniest faces with his little teeth, always grinding them together. He has 8 teeth and he's getting 4 more molars as we speak.
Love our Lincoln boy, he melts all our hearts.

A little Exploring
We decided to take a drive and explore the mountains a few weeks ago. Pictures in the mountains are always my favorite, beautiful surroundings with my most favorite people. I love getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. It was a good afternoon.
Cambree was a bit grumpy when her daddy had to hold her arm across the river so that she didn't float away. She thinks she's invincible these days and can do it all on her own. It's hard thinking you are bigger than you really are.

Cousin Fun Round 2
The second week we had even more family in town. There's about 30 of us total, so you can imagine all the chaos. Aimee graciously had us all over for a BBQ and a campout. My kids and I snuck away and slept inside rather than outside in the tents. My kids are a bit young for me to handle outside by myself. Benton came for the BBQ but had to leave afterwards since he had to work the next day.
We all woke up, had breakfast and packed up for Pineview Reservoir. Sand, khakis, paddle boards, treats, and the sun kept everyone busy!
Cambree was a little fish and just swam around and had the time of her life. She's such a partier, she could just play all day!
Addie had a fever and didn't feel too well so she kinda stayed by me and played a bit.
Lincoln LOVED the seagulls. He was so excited and screaming every time he saw one, which was a lot!

Cousin Fun Round 1
We've been busy spending time with family who are in town. We've driven up to North Ogden twice in the past week and stayed overnight. My kids love their cousins and had a blast playing with them. We only wished they lived closer!
In between trips up North we had my niece Emma for three nights. The girls spent every waking moment together and had so much fun. Emma was a bit homesick at times. Its hard being away from home at such a young age. Cambree was pretty cute with her when Emma would get sad. She would comfort her and try and explain to her when she could go back home. I finally figured out if she was busy doing something she wouldn't think about how much she missed her parents. So we kept as busy as we could!
I have more pictures from our second trip going up North coming soon! This summer is flying by SOOOO fast!

Happy 4th of July!
This year we all woke up and got ready for the Oakley City Parade. The kids had fun but were a bit disappointed in the amount of candy that was thrown. They only got 2-3 pieces of candy each. Maybe next year we will try a different parade, Cambree mentioned she didn't care for parades. I'm sure they would be swayed if they got a bagful of candy.
I'm a sucker for matching outfits, and I loved their patriotic ones!
Later on in the afternoon we went over to Kenny & Caroline's for a BBQ. The kids hadn't seen the Earl cousins yet who are in town from Iowa, so they had a blast running around with each other! They had a water ballon fight and they thought it was amazing.
We did fireworks at their house. Lincoln wasn't too sure but by the end he was clapping and was confused when they would stop. I can only imagine how he'll be when he gets a bit bigger!
We sure love our family and spending time with one another! Let the festivities begin!

Stewart Falls
Benton and I took the kids on a hike to Stewart Falls up by Sundance. It was a 3.75 mile roundtrip hike and they did it! There was a little bit of complaining which was expected but they did awesome!
The view was so incredible, Utah is really so amazingly beautiful.
We saw a bunch of butterflies. I always think of Allie when I see a butterfly, so I felt like she was with us even if it was just her little spirit joining us on our hike.
As you can expect, we took a bunch of water breaks. Addie kept checking in and asking me if I was hot which if I said yes, meant I needed a drink.
It was absolutely breathtaking and I was so proud that they completed it!
I think Lincoln had the comfiest ride on my back. He even took a little nap on the way back.
We will be back for sure!
