Our Miss Cambree is officially SIX!!! It's crazy to think it's already been that long since she was born and that's when we became parents. We are lucky to have Cambree as our oldest. She sure has set the bar high for her siblings. She has so many wonderful qualities that we adore.
Here she is on her last day of Kindergarten. She really enjoyed her teacher Mrs. Palmer as well. Cambree loved school and is so very social. She makes friends with anyone; young or old, boy or girl. She just loves to have fun and enjoys others company. Sometimes I worry because she is a bit too friendly, not shy one bit.
Cambree is our crazy, free spirited and beautiful girl. She has a sassy and silly side that makes us all laugh. Recently she said to us "Well you don't know everything! What does a snake eat? Meat, they eat mice meat." She didn't even give us room to answer her, she just told us off by acting like we didn't know anything about snakes. She's a bit crazy but she makes us smile.
She is very nurturing with her siblings. She lets Addie lay on her shoulder/lap all the time. And she's obsessed with Lincoln. She still thinks she can do more than she should with him but she has good intentions. Lincoln just thinks he can do things on his own now and doesn't need her help anymore.
She loves to be the center of attention and loves gifts. Her face lit up when she saw the decorations out and presents for her. She couldn't have been happier!
Happy Birthday sweet girl, we LOVE you!

Smith & Moorehouse 2016
Last year after we went camping for Addie's birthday, Cambree kept talking about how she wanted to do the same thing for her next birthday. How could we turn that request down? Camping with family, we are IN! Since we are the only ones with a camper, my family stayed at my Uncle's cabin at Smith & Moorehouse while we stayed in our trailer.
When we arrived, we got settled into our camper and headed out to the cabin.
We kept busy and had a lot of fun together. Our kids couldn't have been more happy playing with their cousins and grandparents!
That night, Cambree opened presents and we had strawberry cake (her request). I bought a crown for her-she LOVES to be the center of attention!
On our way back to our trailer, we stopped so Benton could fish for a minute. He didn't catch anything but I got some good pics!
The next day we tried to catch frogs but we couldn't get close enough. And we let the kids have a water balloon fight, thankfully they smiled and laughed the whole time.
It was a great birthday celebration for Miss Cambree. Her birthday isn't till the 7th, so more birthday posts to come!

Summer is officially here!
The girls talked me into setting up the pool for the first day of summer. They spent a good 3-4 hours playing in our backyard enjoying the sun. You know where you can find us this summer!
Lincoln just watched from above...soon enough he'll be splashing along with them!

Memorial Weekend
We began our weekend with a date! It was our 12 year anniversary on the 27th so we went to Market Street Grill to celebrate. Chelsie was kind and offered to babysit our kids. We had a wonderful time at dinner. We've been dieting for months now and it was nice to take the night off and eat whatever we wanted. I sure am one lucky girl to have met such a wonderful guy back in Jr High School, who would have guessed we would fall in love and get married?
On Memorial day we attended the Race for Grief for our little Miss Allie. It was our fourth year going to the race and I feel motivated and I push myself harder while I train for the 10k. I want her to be proud of us and it pushes me to do better and be a better person. This year Benton and I ran it together and we finished in 61 minutes. I was proud of our time and I am lucky to have him running by my side. A BIG thank you to all who came and supported us! And I know there were others who couldn't come but sent us well wishes and we appreciate all that we received! We sure do love and miss you Allie!
Afterwards we went and visited her at her grave. I know I've said it before and I know I'll say it again but I wish cemeteries were always filled with flowers like they are on Memorial Day, it's just a beautiful sight.

Cambree's dance recital
Cambree has been in dance since the beginning of January. She goes with her friend who lives in our neighborhood and has enjoyed going every Monday. It's a smaller class, but the girls have had a blast. We got to see a bit of what they learned yesterday by going to a small recital in her teachers backyard. It was 70's themed and they all looked adorable!
You know me, I of course had a mini-photo session beforehand! She looked so pretty!
My favorite part is that she waved to Benton and I about twenty different times. She was just so excited, made me happy. Great job Cam, you did awesome!

Rockport
First camping trip of the season happened last weekend. The first night, Benton camped with the girls on his own, while Lincoln and I had a girls overnighter with some of my neighbor friends. Us girls plus Lincoln stayed in Park City. We ate pizza and ice-cream, stayed up till 1:30am talking and watching a movie, and the next day we shopped till we dropped. It was just what I needed!
I then joined Benton and the girls Saturday afternoon. We took a little walk by the lake and watched all the gofers pop their heads up from their homes in the ground. The girls thought it was so fun to see them go in and out of their holes.
There was a small hill by our campground, where Addie became a daredevil and rode her bike down the hill. They ended up doing it over and over until they eventually biffed it and fell over. It was fun while it lasted!
And we can't go camping and not roast smores! It's what I live for while camping! As you can see, Lincoln left a bunch of crumbs on his little cheeks, I think he enjoyed it the most!
We sure are excited to try new camping spots this summer!
