Before I begin my original post, I have to include this. Yesterday I asked Cambree what she wanted to eat for lunch. Her reply "salad". I found it kind of odd that a 2 year old wanted salad for lunch, but who was I to question her? So she got salad and thoroughly enjoyed it!
For dinner we went over to Benton's dad's house for our Christmas dinner. We had plans to go over to their house on Christmas night but because Dave got Influenza A we postponed it to last night. He's finally felling better, he was sick for such a long time. Thankfully he's all recovered!
Marie, who I've mentioned is the best cook out there made us a feast! She never disappoints with what she cooks. Everything was amazing!
Benton is so cute with Addison, she lights up whenever he talks to her. So sweet.
We opened presents and were able to sit and enjoy each other.
They gave Cambree such a cute bath toy to play with, I didn't get a picture of her playing with it unfortunately. However he gave her 3 of his fishing lures because a couple months ago he gave her one and the tail accidentally fell off. She was so disappointed and asked me to fix it. I tried glue gunning it back together, I used nail glue, my friend and myself even tried sewing it back together. Sadly, nothing worked. It was ridiculous. So she was beyond thrilled when he gave her some new fish!
I attempted to get a picture of Dave and the girls but because the fish were already given to her, she couldn't concentrate long enough for us to get a picture of her without her fish dangling in front of her face.
And when we came home, they of course had to be tucked in under her blankets with her.
Oh, and don't you worry they have been with her ALL day long. We even went out to lunch with my mom and to the mall and they came along! Hopefully one of their tails don't fall off!

Happy New Year!
Benton and I were able to drop off Cambree today at my parents house and go see Jack Reacher . Addie of course was a perfect baby during the movie.
Have you ever heard the phrase "do your eyes light up?" Well I don't think I've ever thought that about anybody, well not until now. I see it in Addison's eyes whenever she smiles. She makes any room brighter with her smile. We are so blessed to have her in our family. Love our baby and love every minute we have with her!
Hope you all have a great 2013!

Remembering you...
We just stayed home this year for New Years Eve. However we did release a lantern into the sky for Allie. I think that it will be something we will do to remember her by each year. We will never forget the impact she had on our lives.
Miss you baby girl. We love you!

Merry Christmas!
This year was the first year that Cambree somewhat understood what Christmas really was about. I loved seeing the look on her face when she opened her presents.
Cambree was spoiled by us and Santa!
I love this sleeping bag we got her, Addison also got one but in purple. I think it will be fun for them in the years to come.
My good friend Barb made both the girls bunny slippers, I think they are so dang cute! There was love stitched into them both.
Addison also got a lot of fun things!
All in all it was a good Christmas. I had a pretty hard couple of days but I tried to make the best of it for the girls. We were able to drive up and visit with Allie after opening presents and eating breakfast. How I wished she was here celebrating with us instead.
Afterwards we were able to spend the rest of the day at home playing with the girls. We had a few visitors but luckily we were able to stay home and relax.
As Cambree would say "Happy Christmas!"
