My good friend Cortney

Since Benton went out of town, I decided to go visit my good friend Cortney. We work together, but she is off for maternity leave. I really talking to her at work, so I went to her house! She looks awesome, I'm so happy for her and her family. Here are some cute pictures during my visit.

I love my Grammy!

I had the chance to go out to lunch with my grammy while Benton went out of town. I picked her up and we ate at Chili's. She is the best grandma, always complimenting me and telling me she loves me. I'm so glad that I'm able to spend time with her. I bet I'll be just like my grandma when I get older. She's always dressed up really nice, with her hair done and wearing jewelry-very fashionable. Somehow I ended up with my 2 nephews bouncing on this exercise ball, fun but a little scary.

This is Jack and I, he calls me "Moosa". Whe he was littler he couldn't say my name and that was the closest he could get, now he can say my name correctly, but I think out of habbit still calls me "Moosa". It's really cute!

This is Karly and I, she is my older sister and is 6 months pregnant.

This picture is really funny, Jack didn't want to get out of the tub for some weird reason, so he just layed there in his towel, crazy kid.

I took Karly, Nick and Jack to the airport yesterday, it was so sad to see them leave. We had such a great visit, they just need to live closer, maybe some day!

Bragging rights

I just have to brag, my best friend Megan had her first child on December 31st. They named her Ellie, she was 7 lbs 5 oz, and was 21 inches long. She is such a pretty baby!

Christmas Visit

Merry Christmas

This year for Christmas I took off 2 weeks from work to spend time with my family. I picked up my sister Karly, her hubby Nick and their son Jack from the airport to begin our fun. On Christmas Eve we had a sleepover, total of 12 people, all at my house. It definitely was chaotic at times, but really fun. We made a turkey dinner, what a feast! We always open up one present on Christmas Eve which is always pj's. Here are us girls sporting our new pajama pants...

It's really fun having nephews and watching them open up their presents, even though sometimes they are more interested in the wrapping paper than the gifts. I love spending time with everyone, the day just flew by! I hope you all had a great Christmas as well!

Jazz Night

For Benton's birthday, he decided he wanted to go to a Jazz Game. So on Saturday we went and watched the Jazz play against the Orlando Magic's. The tickets he bought came with dinner at the Energy Solutions Arena and free parking. We had a lot of fun, hanging out just the two of us.


The Jazz did really well the first half of the game, but the second half wasn't so good. We ended up loosing, which was sad, but we still enjoyed our night out!

Twilight Night

Last night we had a sisters night out! I went with my sister in laws and Chelsie to the Cheesecake Factory and then we went and saw Twilight. The Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite restaurants, their Chicken Madeira is to die for. Yummy!

After dinner we went to the Megaplex and saw Twilight. We were all so excited to see it, since it had already been out for a week. I have been trying hard not to hear every one's reviews. I absolutely loved the book, not so much the movie. What can you expect though? Books are always better. I sure did have fun with all the girls, they are really fun to hang out with! Even though the movie wasn't the best, I'm glad I went. I hope to go with them to Eclipse when it comes out!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays, I love to eat and I love TURKEY!!! We had Thanksgiving dinner with Benton's family, at his sister's house. We arrived around 3pm and stayed about 5 hours.
