Star Valley Ranch

Cabin life is good.  We spent 9 days and it was so relaxing.  It was so nice for Benton to take a week off of work and do the things he loves.  We spent our days sleeping in, fishing, golfing, hiking, eating good food, playing games, watching movies, riding bikes and catching up on things we needed to fix in the cabin.

Who doesn't like to hit golf balls?

We found the prettiest fishing spot up Swift Creek! The water was a beautiful teal color.

Lincoln loves to fish and touch them so much that when Benton released the fish, Lincoln cried his eyes out.

We took a hike to Intermittent Falls! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful on the way up!

It took a bit convincing for the kids to climb to the top but they all did it in the end and it was gorgeous overlooking the waterfall!

And on the way back we passed Janee Falls!  It looked like we were in Hawaii, so much greenery and pretty blue water!

Next post, our 4th of July in Star Valley!

Babysitting Bennett

My sister asked me months ago to babysit her little guy for 5 days while she headed to girls camp.  I was both excited and a bit nervous since babies need constant supervision and Lincoln is out of the baby stage officially.  But it's just like riding a bike, you get back on and it comes back naturally.

Sadly he was a bit grumpy and I finally figured out why, his back molars were coming in. Poor thing was in pain.  Once we got him some Infant Tylenol he was much better. We all had the best time snuggling with him and playing with him.  I'm so glad we had the opportunity to spend so much time with this cute little man.  Love you Bennett baby!

We were sure sad to see him go but thankfully we get to cuddle him every time we see my sisters family!

Summer cut

Benton shaved off all of Lincolns hair for the Summer!  He looks adorable with his new hair do!

Trip to Beaver Dam

I decided to take the kids down to Beaver Dam, Az to visit their Nanny Linda and Papa Tony while Benton was away on a fishing trip.  I planned the trip last minute and thankfully they didn't have plans so we packed up and jumped in the car the day after Cambree's birthday.

The kids got to ride around in their new golf cart that we had heard so much about. Cambree even got to drive it!

We also went swimming two times while we were there.  It's so hot that the only way to cool down is to go swim.

We all had a blast and I'm so glad we impulsively went!  Thanks Nanny and Papa for the fun weekend!

Cambree's 8!!!

Our first born turned 8 years old, I can hardly believe it's been that long since she's been born!  Since she's not much of a cake eater and I had already made a cake for her party we got cookies instead!

I asked her if I could take her on a photo shoot just her and I and I'm so glad I was able to capture her fun personality.  I wish you all could know her like we do because you'd see just how easy it is to love this girl of ours!
