Happy 3rd Birthday Lincoln!
Our little man turned 3! This year was a bit crazy with family so we celebrated him one night with my parents and on his birthday with the Earl family. He had a blast and was spoiled and loved by all. We of course did a Dinosaur theme since he's obsessed with all things dinosaurs. Love our Linky boy so very much!

My very own Superhero!
Lincoln loves to run around wearing his capes and underwear. Most times he says he is "Captain Underpants". I love his imagination and smile while he's playing!

Star Valley
We spent another weekend at the cabin. Benton and I always find a bunch of things to do and work on. Hopefully really soon we won't have to work as much and will be able to relax with our kiddos. Also get more pics of what we've been up to!

Spring is here!
We are so happy the weather is finally getting nicer. We spent the afternoon at the park and loved every second of it.

The Strangest Thing
On April 11th, Lincoln came into the kitchen crawling from his bed. I thought he was kidding so I said "Are you a baby?" He replied "I'm not a baby, I'm Lincoln." But as the morning progressed he wouldn't put any weight on his left leg. I got nervous and ended up making him an appointment that afternoon with a doctor. He didn't cry or act like it hurt him. He just wouldn't walk or put any pressure on it.
Later that afternoon I took him in. They rotated his hip, knees, feet and were stumped because he didn't act like he was in pain. We took multiple sets of X-rays making sure nothing was broken or fractured. Everything came back clear. The doctor ended up consulting with another doctor and diagnosed him with Toxic Synovitis which can happen after a cold or stomach flu. Lincoln did have a cold and they said it was most likely that. It just goes away on its own and it's more common in boys 3-8 years old. I carried him most of the day otherwise he dragged his leg behind him.
The next morning he said "Lincoln CAN WALK!" He was so thrilled as was I. I'm so thankful he was better after just one day. Makes you appreciate all the things we take for granted. I'm so happy to see him running around now and back to his normal self.

Happy Easter!
We hung out at our home in the morning and then took Linda to the airport. The kids had fun finding their Easter baskets!
Afterwards we went to lunch at my parents house and visited for a bit. The kids also did an Easter egg hunt that my parents set up at their house.
It really was a fun day spent together with our family!

Cousin Sleepover
At the end of March we took my sister in law's two youngest boys for a few days while they were moving. It was crazy having a 7 year old, 5 year old, 4 year old and two 2 year olds. But we had a lot of fun! And it was nice since my mother in law, Linda was in town as well. It helped having her in town to keep the kids busy!
We took them on the Heber Creeper Train and out to lunch and they all loved it!
Even though it was chaotic, I was so happy to help and have these cute boys with us for a couple days!

A first for St. Patrick's Day!
Addison lost her first tooth yesterday! She was so excited to have the tooth fairy come and bring her a golden dollar. She even left the tooth fairy a letter. I love our little 5 year old and wish she wasn't growing up so fast!

Weekend at the Cabin
We were able to go up to our cabin and do some more work on it. It's only 3.5 hours away and it was the perfect drive up since they all fell asleep!
We are finally getting close to being done for now. We finished painting the downstairs and then we had Kattie (Benton's sister) and her family come stay for the weekend. Jason and Benton were able to tile the mudroom and hall and it looks amazing! Kate and I entertained the kids while our husbands were busy. I feel so lucky they live back here in Utah. Our kids are adorable with one another and it makes me so happy. I will post more pics once we have lighting and it's complete! But it looks so much better than it did!
We were also able to go sledding, the kids all had a blast!
Hopefully next time we can go up and not work and just play!

Our February
Our February wasn't all that interesting. We've been working hard at at the cabin remodeling it and we usually are their most weekends! Our fridge was broken for 2 weeks straight and we lived out of a cooler. It was pretty annoying and I couldn't be more happier when we got it working again! Other than that not a whole lot happened. Here's a few highlights though!
Cambree had a fever for 5 days straight with no other symptoms. She was so sad because she couldn't go to school. She stayed home the whole week and got lots of snuggles from Scout.
As you can tell Scout is pretty much the center of attention and gets smothered all day long! He loves to sit on my shoulders when we are in the car and it drives me bonkers!!! I always am pulling him down.
I caught Addison doing Lincoln's hair with a bunch of bows and of course I had to catch it on camera!
Licnoln had surgery on his hydrocele at Primary Children's Hospital. He has had his hydrocele for about 14 months now. Thankfully it was an in and out procedure and he did fabulous! They warned us he would most likely would be a grouch and throw huge fits after surgery since he's only two years old and they don't know how to express their feelings at that age. But to our surprise he was happy as could be. Both Benton and I were shocked at how happy and well he did. He's still recovering but should be completely normal in a months time.
Other than that not a lot happened. I'm ready for March to be here so Spring can come!
