Merry Christmas!

I actually woke the kids up on Christmas morning at 7am. I was shocked they hadn't gotten up themselves. Cambree was all smiles, so excited, full of giggles. Addie just stood their, all shy not sure what to do. They got a lot of fun toys and gifts. They were sure spoiled.

Shortly after they opened their gifts, Tony & Linda had to be on their way to visit other family members. We had a wonderful week with them and are so thankful they could stay with us. Love you guys.

Later that afternoon, we drove to my parents house. My camera sadly died on the way there. The roads were pretty good considering all the snow we had gotten the past week. The drive down Provo Canyon is breathtaking.

We had a wonderful Christmas with those we love. Always missing our Allie. Merry Christmas friends.

Christmas Eve!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with Benton's family. They all drove up for breakfast. We ate and hung out. I wasn't as good as I usually am with the pictures but I did get a few goodies!

That night we stayed home and the kids got their pajamas. It was nice to stay inside and just hang out together. That's what Christmas is all about, spending it with those you love.

Fly Fishing

Benton's mom and step-dad came and stayed with us for 5 days for Christmas break. While they were here, Benton and I snuck out and went fly fishing together. We've been talking about going for about 6 months, but its just hard to get away without Lincoln tagging along. So while he was napping, Benton and I were able to escape for a couple hours.

I didn't quite know what I was getting into. 20 degree temperatures, walking in 3 feet of snow, and walking in freezing water. Thankfully I was in waders and stayed really warm. I enjoyed every second of our time together. He really has a talent at fly fishing.

And I love watching him do what he loves. It makes me happy he has such a beautiful hobby. I mean it is undeniably beautiful on the river. Who knows, maybe I'll love it too one day when our kids get a bit older?

Winter Wonderland!

It's officially the first day of Winter and we have about 2 feet of snow outside and it's suppose to keep on coming this week. Benton took the girls outside and built a snowman this morning. We are lucky that Benton has the rest of the year off of work! We're loving all the time we get to have with him.

Linky just watched us all on the front porch while they all played in the snow. Next year I'm sure he'll be in it like the rest of us!

Love the holiday season and spending it with the ones I love!

We've got a CRAWLER!

Lincoln just learned a new trick, crawling! I think we're in trouble!

And here's a few, just because he's adorable and I can't resist myself from taking a thousand pictures...

Happy Birthday Bent!

Benton turned 33 this past week. My mom came up and slept overnight to take care of our girls while Benton and I went on a date. Lincoln tagged along of course since he can't be held by someone else for even 2 minutes. We went and saw "Creed" and then went to a new restaurant in town called Back 40. Let's just say it wasn't the best date ever. Lincoln whined the whole movie, because he was tired. So I held him the whole time, trying to calm him down. I ended up walking the theatre with him. Luckily there was only one other person in the theatre besides us. He cried at dinner as well, not very relaxing but what can you do?

Here's to you Benton. Happy Birthday! We are all blessed to have you as our friend, father and my husband. I'm glad our kids can see what a loving marriage looks like. You work so extremely hard at everything you do and it shows. You have provided us such a good life and we are all so very grateful. I love you very much. Hope your day was good. Hopefully next year we won't have a crying baby on our date with us~ Mr. Lincoln will have to get rid of his separation anxiety by next year!

My girls

The girls are doing great! They love playing with each other, don't get me wrong they argue all the time. But they take care of one another.

Addie is always thinking of Cambree when she is getting food. Always grabbing another bowl, plate or cup saying one is for herself and the other for "Damie". She still can't say her c words, so everything is still a d that starts with a c.

Cambree lets Addie lay on her and will rub her back. They certainly know how to make me smile. I'm glad they have each other.
Love these two girls!

7 Months

Lincoln turned 7 months the end of November. We had to find a new pediatrician because ours didn't have vaccines and they weren't sure when they would get more. I decided I'd rather drive 10 more minutes and go somewhere that was always stocked with shots and vaccines. So I took him to a new office. He had gained one pound in the last month.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned Lincolns pinching habit. He pinches me every time he nurses and it hurts! I noticed the other day he was pinching himself as well. It's not a habit that I'm fond of.

I can't help not to post this...look at his hands. Seriously such a doll baby!

He gets in the crawling position and tries to crawl. Moslty it's a back and forth motion. He can army crawl if he really wants something as well. I think he'll figure it out pretty quickly.

I figured out that since he could sit up, he no longer had to bathe in a baby bathtub. He splashes the entire time and loves being in the big bathtub.

He has horrible separation anxiety. The worst so far out of all my kids. He freaks out if someone else holds him. And depending on his mood he won't even let Benton hold him. He'll be balling his eyes out and then immediately stops when I hold him. It's a bit ridiculous.

And his two bottom front teeth have broken through! He seems pretty miserable. I don't blame him, I bet it hurts. Poor guy, but he looks cute with little teeth!

And the girls are still obsessed with him. They cannot leave him alone, he sure is loved!

Love you Linky boy!
