I love Addie's age and just wish I could freeze time. I love their little bodies at two years old. Still so little, yet big enough to do all sorts of things. She still has a baby face and soon enough I know it will start to disappear and she will look older. Especially once our little guy is born, then she'll look real big to us.
But for now she's our little baby and I'm loving her big personality.
Oh how we love her so.

One of those days...
The girls were bored and both ended up in tears. It was a day that I was glad that I had plans with my girlfriend that night...I needed to get out. Even though they were having a rough day, I couldn't help myself, I sat there and took pictures of them crying...because they weren't crying about anything in particular. I'm thinking we are all ready for spring. Anyone else have days like these?

Time to share...
April is coming right around the corner! We knew the girls would end up sharing a room, so we decided this past weekend to buy Addie her own big girl bed and rearrange Cambree's room. The girls were both pretty excited. Their room is pretty small, so it's pretty cramped but it will work. We have an extra room in our basement but Cambree is too little and scared to be in the basement alone, so for now they can share.
Here's how it turned out!
Their dresser had to be moved into their closet, which isn't ideal but there wasn't another choice. It looks a bit cramped in there...
Addie was so excited once it was put together that she kept jumping up and down on her bed. She has to use a stool to climb up on it.
It's been two nights since we made the changes and the first night I tried for an hour with no success...she ended back in her crib. She kept getting out, running around, turning on the radio, jumping into Cambree's bed and running down the hallway. Last night we tried for an hour and a half with no success...same thing. Cambree was able to fall asleep with all of Addie's chaos which is a good sign. So I guess we will keep trying each night and hopefully it will work one of these nights. At least we have 3 months to keep trying before our little guy arrives!

Get Air
We took the girls yesterday to the trampoline park and they had a blast! It's been about a year since we've been and I don't know why we waited so long because they both giggled and smiled the whole time we were there...pure happiness.
Hopefully we'll make it back before next year!

Crazy Hair
This little one takes a nap daily...well sometimes. I'm afraid it's coming to an end, especially once we put her in a twin size bed. But for now, I am so thankful when she does sleep during the day to give me a minute to relax and let me finish some things that I need to catch up on.
I love to see her little face when she first wakes up. All groggy and with the craziest, messiest hair ever.

Rub a dub
Not much is happening around here, it's just so cold outside. And because my girls are so small, there aren't too many activities that we can go do.
Thankfully Cambree started preschool back up this week which she still loves. Besides that we've just been running errands and playing inside.
My mom bought this bath paint for the girls and boy did they love it! And I loved that they were occupied playing for a good 30 minutes.
I love that they are finally playing well together. Love these girls of mine.

Snow Day!
We woke up this morning to more snow! We probably have about a foot and a half. The girls wanted to go play in it, so we all got bundled up and headed outside.
Cambree was in heaven, smiling from ear to ear!
Addie on the other hand wanted to come right back inside. Not her thing quite yet.
I'm sure as soon as Benton gets off work, they will all head back outside to sled!

Aquarium
The day after Christmas we went to the aquarium. Benton had never been so it was fun for Cambree to lead the way and show him all the exhibits.
Cambree loves walking across the rope walk way that they have. Not sure what's up with her smile, obviously it's not her real one. But at least she'll look at the camera!
We sure love the holidays so that we can spend time together as a family!

Christmas!
The girls didn't wake up till 7:30am! I was so happy they slept in, so that I could get our breakfast casserole in the oven. Cambree was eager to run straight downstairs but we had to wake Addie up first. Once they saw all the presents it was pretty chaotic. Wrapping paper was flying everywhere, Cambree hardly looked at a present before opening the next. After they were all unwrapped, she went back to look at everything she got. Addie on the other hand wanted us to take out each toy from it's box so that she could play with it. And we had to tell her to open her gifts.
We woke up to our first real snowfall of the year! It was such a wonderful sight to see on Christmas morning, it looked so pretty. After presents, the girls got all bundled up and headed outside with Benton. They love playing out in the snow.
Later on my parents dropped by to say hi and see what the girls got. Cambree was too busy showing off her toys to get a picture with her grandparents.
Then we went to dinner at Benton's dad's house. Marie is the BEST cook around and this time certainly did not disappoint. I was more than stuffed after dinner, I mean she made 5 different cookies a pumpkin pie, and cheesecake...so you can imagine how full we really were. Thankfully she sent us home with TONS of leftovers!
And on our way home we stopped by to blow kisses to our baby girl. Cambree wanted to get out and sing her "We wish you a Merry Christmas" so that's what we did. She was pretty excited to sing to her.
It was a busy day but filled with love and happiness. I'm so blessed and can't wait to see what's in store for next year! Merry Christmas friends!
