This last week Benton and I had our 6 year anniversary. I tell ya, the time has just flown by so quickly. I just want to say how much I love Benton and couldn't be happier with the choice we made 6 years ago to get married. We are the perfect match! I feel like I brag a lot on my blog about how great Benton is, but it's hard not to because he is so great! He is the best husband a girl could ask for and I feel so lucky to be with him. I'm so excited to see what new things we will experience together this upcoming year, I'm sure there will be a lot with a new baby~ we can't wait to be parents together!
We celebrated by going shopping up in Park City and then ate dinner at Tepanyaki, yummy!!!
Happy Anniversary Benton!

Maternity Photos
Thanks to my great friend Cortney who had the inspiration to take pictures of me at 36 weeks pregnant. I can honestly say I was a little skeptical at first, not of Cortney's abilities but of having a photo shoot SO pregnant. We did some of the pictures at my house and some at this barn up the street from my house and boy did they turn out great! See for yourself....

After our little girl is born, Cortney is going to put my pregnancy photos and photos of our little girl in a bound book. I cannot wait to have something for her to have for the rest of her life. Cortney also suggested writing something up of how Benton and I became to be to put in the book ~ isn't that the sweetest idea? I cannot thank Cortney enough! As you can tell she takes wonderful pictures, if you need a photographer, I would definitely recommend her, she's great, so please check out any of her links; her blog, website, and she's on facebook . Thanks again Cortney, I love all of my pictures!

The day has come!
It happened, Benton graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems and Technology-Network Security. I couldn't be prouder of him! What an exciting day for him to finish school, he has worked so hard these past 6 years while we've been married. He's been going to school and working at least 2 jobs (1 full time job & 1 part time job) the whole time. I feel so blessed to be married to someone who is such a hard worker, it's one of the things I love about Benton the most. He'll always take care of me, he is so determined- I know he can succeed at whatever he puts his hands too, which makes me all sorts of jealous. I could sit here and brag about him all day because I cannot be happier for him and his accomplishment, I'll stop now, just know how grateful I am of everything he does for us!

Benton and his proud father...
So being as excited as I was about him getting his degree, I decided to throw Benton a SURPRISE PARTY! I started planning it about a month before I threw it, and man was it hard keeping it a secret. Some of you know that we have been finishing our basement now for about 3 months and we were down to the last of it and I thought it would be done way before the party, but nope we didn't get anything moved down til the day before the big Surprise party...I was SUPER stressed out...poor Benton thought it was because of me being 8 months pregnant, but little did he know I had much more planned for him! His good friend Mike got him out of my house, they went to hit golf balls...Benton would never turn that idea down, so off he went and I started scurrying around my house tyring to get ready....here he is walking into the party and everyone anxiously waiting to yell SURPRISE!
He was shocked, had no clue at all! I'm so happy it all worked out, here are some other pics from the party!
Congratulations Benton, I am so proud, love you!

Fun Filled Day
What a great Saturday! I had 2 baby showers in one day, crazy busy but SO much fun! I started off the morning with my family shower at my sister Chelsie's house, thanks sister! They had a great brunch; quiche, fruit, raspberry & orange rolls, and juice...so yummy! I got a lot of great stuff and it was great to see my aunts and cousins! My sisters and mother did a great job putting together my shower! I know how hard they worked and I could tell how much love you guys put into it. Love you guys!
I left my family shower and headed up North to my other family shower (Benton's family). They decorated Carol's house so cute and had a great lunch! I love spending time with his family, I am so blessed to have such great in laws! Everyone, my mother, father, and sister-in-laws are the best, I wouldn't ever want to switch families because I married into the best family a girl could ask for! I got a lot of great stuff and had a blast see for yourself...
Thanks everyone for all of the great baby stuff, I needed it all! Can't wait to have this baby girl, she's going to be so spoiled!

Date Night
So before we have our little girl, I'm trying to do things that we won't be able to do or at least it will be harder to do with a baby. So on Tuesday I left work early, rode the FrontRunner down to SLC to meet Benton to go on a date! We first headed to The Gateway, did a little window shopping and then made our way to the Skybox for some nacho's.
Here I am at 31 weeks pregnant...
After dinner we headed to the Engery Solutions Arena to watch the Jazz play against the Oklahoma City Thunders. I don't really enjoy watching the games on TV, however I do enjoy going to the games in person. I enjoy big crowds of people getting excited about something, and I also love to people watch. I sometimes can easily get distracted by others so I had to remind myself to watch the game. It was a really good game to go to in person, way exciting. They ended up going into overtime and won by 1 point! I'm glad I was able to go to one last game with Benton before she comes! Here are some pics from the game...
