We make it to the zoo once a year since it's kinda pricey. My kids love it, so it's worth the money! We met up with my mom and sister for the day. They loved all the animals, the train ride and the bird show! Lincoln walked around screaming with excitement. I don't think he remembers ever going so for him it was a new experience. Such a fun day!
As a mom, I love seeing their excitement light up their eyes.

Family Time Part 2
The day after Kattie and her family left, my sister from Arkansas came into town! Talk about crazy busy!
We decided to go on a hike for our first day together. We met them at the Suspension Bridge in Draper, all our kids were troopers...except for Lincoln who I carried about 90% of the hike. Oh well, good exercise. The bridge was a bit more scary than we all anticipated. It was suspended over a ravine, hence the name. We all got the nerve and crossed it. I absolutely love hiking and trying new places, so for me it was such a fun beautiful morning spent outside!
The next day we met at The Museum of Natural Curiosity which the kids loved running around and exploring! I didn't take many pictures but they all had a blast!
Then from Wednesday to Saturday we played at my Uncle's cabin up at Smith & Morehouse! We went swimming at the Kamas pool, painted rocks, had a treasure hunt, ate lots of yummy food, and relaxed. I was looking forward to the time spent at the cabin the most. I love being outside and in the mountains.
And of course we were luck and all got to cuddle with baby Bennett!
Benton took off work on Friday so he was able to join us at the end of the trip. He took some of the kids fishing and we took turns kayaking.
It really was such a fun couple weeks with family! We've been so busy my kids might go stir crazy since we don't have plans everyday. I'm however looking forward to relaxing somewhat!

Family Time Part 1
A few weeks ago Benton's sister Kattie and her family came into town. We spent the week playing with all our cousins and found out while they were here that they are moving back!!! We can't wait to play with them whenever we want!
While they were here we kept busy. One of the days we headed to Surf n' Swim. I didn't get a picture of all the kids together but they all had a blast soaking in the sun.
Later on during the week, Benton's sister Carol got married to Zak! They had their wedding up at the Woodland Biscuit Company. It was a beautiful ceremony and we felt so lucky to spend such a special day with them.
On one of the nights our family and Kattie's family headed to the river to play for a bit. I just love how all these kids get along so well even when they only see each other once a year. I am over the moon that they are all moving back, we can't wait!
It was such a fun week spent with family. I love them all so very much!

Happy 4th of July!
The fourth is one of my favorite holidays to dress the kids in matching colors. I don't match them very often but I love the patriotic colors of red, white and blue.
In the afternoon we headed to my parents for a BBQ. We let the kids light a few fireworks before we headed home! It was nice to all spend some time together and make memories!
Hope you all had a fun, safe Fourth of July!
