Girls Trip!

Last year, Aimee turned the BIG 40! So to celebrate all us girls flew to San Diego for 5 days to celebrate. I love our tradition to travel when one of us hits 40. And San Diego was a perfect place for us to go.

We ate, shopped, got pedicures, went on walks, hikes and laughed A LOT! It was my favorite girls trip to date, so much fun.

Our rental car was awful, it was so tiny. It really was ridiculous. They gave away our full sized car to someone else so we had to squeeze in a small Hyundai but we got a lot of laughs out of it.

The first night we went to the farmers market and enjoyed tasting food and walking around looking at all the shops.

The next day we drove to La Jolla. There were so many seals and sea lions sitting and swimming around.

Afterwards we did a small hike at Torrey Pines.

On Friday we walked through an absolutely beautiful cemetery, it was the Fort Rosecrans Cemetery for Veterans. Afterwards we walked around Point Loma and saw the lighthouse.

On Saturday we drove to Cornado and I guess I was pictured out since I didn't take many pictures. The sun was actually out, so we soaked it up for a bit on the beach.

I am so lucky to have all these women in my life. I love them all so dearly. And I'm so thankful Benton took off work and took care of all my normal responsibilities. I love getting away for a bit but I enjoy coming home to my normal routine and my kids. I am very blessed.

Spring is near!

The snow has finally melted in Heber and the sun is out! Which means playing at the park!

Just because she's cute

I can't help myself but pull out my camera and take pictures of all my kids. I loved capturing some pictures of Addie tickling her arms. Anytime she changes clothes she's in a trance tickling herself. Benton can tickle her back and she'll fall right asleep on him. And she's still obsessed with twirling her hair around her fingers.
Four and a half years old couldn't be any cuter!
