Snow, snow and some more snow

This winter has been packed with snow. We've canceled plans more than once because we got snowed into our little Heber Valley. The canyons are a mess to drive in and require chains or 4wd. We have 4wd but I say if it's bad enough to need it, then I don't want to chance driving in it. We just stayed home and let the kids play in it. Thankfully they were thrilled, they love playing outside even in the snow.

The girls used our driveway to sled on. Its not much of a hill but they did it for almost an hour and had such a fun time!

As much as snow is fun to play in, I'm ready for SPRING!

Locks of Love

Cambree has wanted to cut her hair for a good month now. I was hesitant for quite a while but I finally gave in. She decided to donate her hair to Locks of Love which I was all for!

When we got to the Barber shop she asked the hairstylist "Will I need to get a shot?" Obviously we haven't gotten her haircut before. Thank goodness getting your haircut doesn't hurt. She sat very still and was all smiles once it was done. I must say it has shortened our time styling it everyday as well which is a great perk for me!

How adorable is she? I am in love with it!

Cabin Fun!

Over Martin Luther King Day we were lucky enough to go up to my friend, Jami's families cabin at Daniels Summit. They had a ridiculous amount of snow. She said she's never seen that much snow at their cabin. We ate pizza and snacks and headed outside to sled and play in the snow. Cambree flipped off her sled at one point and cut her lip and now its big and swollen. She wasn't very happy about it but she survived. We all had such a good time together. We are lucky to have such amazing neighbors who are our dear friends. It was a fun and perfect sunny day to play outside.

Snow Days!

We've had quite the snow storms this past week! I think we've gotten about 2 feet or so. And its still falling! It's been nice for the kids to get outside and play. It's been cold but they haven't minded one bit! While Benton was snow-blowing our driveway, Cambree would stand right in front of it so she would get smothered with snow. She thought it was hilarious, I think she's plain crazy. Glad they are enjoying themselves though.

Cambree loves having friends in our neighborhood, they are just so adorable together!

And when they aren't outside they are playing so cute inside. Addie and Cambree had the idea of having a wedding, and it was very adorable. Love their little minds.

Sledding Day

During Christmas break we met up with Benton's sisters and their families to hang out for the day. We met for breakfast at the Woodland Biscuits & Company. It was so delicious. I loved the atmosphere, so cute and quaint!

Afterwards we found a hill to sled, build a snowman and have a snowball fight.

It was a great day. Sure love this family of ours!
