Party for Lincoln

My little guy turns one this week!!! We celebrated with family this past weekend. We were suppose to meet at the park but due to rainy, cold weather we partied at our house.

Lincoln is so bashful he just snuggles up with anyone who asks to hold him. I of course got some good snuggles too.

He loved all his presents and plays with them constantly. We didn't have many "boy" toys and now we do. He's in heaven with all his cars he got.

I love his facial expression while everyone sang to him, as you can see he was full of excitement!

He had his very own cake and he loved playing in it. I think he made more of a mess rather than actually eating it.

However he didn't enjoy being cleaned up afterwards...

But once he got in his pi's and got to play with his presents, he was much better!

He had a great birthday party. Thanks to all our family members that came and made it special for him. Love our Link!

Deer Creek Reservoir

We went on a little hike/walk around Deer Creek Resrevoir last night and it was really beautiful. The trail was large enough for us to all walk on and my kids loved being outside. When I told Addie we were going to go hike by the mountain, she exclaimed "We're going camping!" I guess we are all itching to get outside and enjoy the nice weather.

Spring Break!

Cambree has been out of school all week because of Spring Break. We could't have asked for better weather this past week.

We started off by going to the Kamas swimming pool with friends. We all had a great time. Lincoln stayed attached to me the entire time. He just laid on my chest, I thought he would splash around since he likes the tub so much but I think he was a bit nervous.

The girls dyed eggs with GG. We never got around to doing it before Easter. Thankfully my girls didn't know any better. They were happy as could be. And I was happy my mom offered to do it with them!

While they were dying eggs, Lincoln and I just hung out.

And then afterwards we got lunch and played at the park.

The next day we all headed out to a park here in Midway. The swings always bring out the giggles with all my kids. Addie was pretending to be flying like tinker-bell. (We actually call her Tink because she is always prancing around on her tip toes and is such a tiny little thing.)

Cambree asked me a couple days ago to take her picture, you know me...I'd never turn that opportunity down! She seems so much older to me lately. She helps me out a lot. I love that I can ask her to help me with things and most of the time she smiles and does it. I love how she put her hands on her hips and was all smiles for her picture.

We've had such a great spring break. We are ready for Summer!
