9 Months

This sweet man is 9 months old today!  He's growing up way too fast! Maybe its because he's our last baby but I really try to soak up every minute with him.  He makes my heart so happy.  We love our Linky babe.

So what has he been up to?

He LOVES to eat.  He's been eating table food for about a week now and gobbles everything up.  My girls never ate like him, so refreshing to finally have a good eater! Oh and I caved and totally gave him a chocolate chip cookie, which he practically swallowed whole.  He loved it.

He loves to snuggle.  Its the sweetest thing.  I love his tender personality.  Loves to be tickled and held.  He's still a mamma's boy.  And a week ago he said his first word, "Mum" and "Ma".

He is the happiest little guy, always smiling (well unless he wants his mama).

And occasionally he cries, which is adorable too.

And Addie loves snuggling him too. (Pretty sure Cambree was at school every time Addie was holding him.)

9 months on the inside of my belly and now 9 months with us.  Love our Lincoln boy!

Long weekend

This week Cambree didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday due to the end of the term.  So to begin our long weekend off we had Aunt Aimee and cousin Reanna come stay with us one night.  The girls were busy all day long.  Playing outside in the snow, playing house, making jewelry, and watching movies.

I was horrible at taking pictures of the girls, but thankfully Reanna got some with her moms phone.  Love these little cuties!

Aimee took a couple pics of Lincoln and I.  Love my little boyfriend.

Then on Monday our neighbor invited us up to her families cabin at Daniels Summit.  We ate pizza and let the kids play in the snow.  We are so blessed to live next to such wonderful people who we've become close friends with.

We love long weekends so that we can go out and enjoy our Winter!  It certainly is beautiful up here!

Good start to 2016

We decided once Addie ran out of diapers I would try and potty train her again. I tried last Fall and failed. Last time I tried, she just kept peeing all over the place and wouldn't tell me when she had to go. It was a mess and I was so discouraged. I almost didn't want to try again.

But she's 3.5 years old and diapers are expensive (almost $50 for a box at Costco) and she goes through about a box a month. So saying good-bye to her diapers sounded awfully nice. We stayed home all last week and thankfully she is fully potty trained. At the beginning she was clinging tightly around my neck saying "Mama, I'm scared!" But we finally got over the fear and she's a pro now.

While staying at home, I guess Cambree got bored and cut off her bangs...dang scissors!

And Mr. Lincoln is getting into everything! I said "No Lincoln" in a firm voice because he was playing with a wire and he started balling. He's a bit dramatic when you scold him, which is hardly ever, but when I do he cries immediately. It's sad but so very cute. He can go from tears to happiness rather quickly.

Now that potty training is complete, we can make plans and do something fun this week!

Kamas Swimming Pool

We didn't do too much this past week, so we were itching to get out.

On Tuesday Addie got a fever so she didn't do much of anything all day and either did we. She wouldn't eat anything and then around 6pm she asked for pickles. So pickles it was. Thankfully it only lasted one day and she didn't have any other symptoms.

So to end our Winter vacation we decided to take the kids to the pool. We all needed to get out of the house and do something fun. The pool was a perfect idea. Cambree was quite independent. She wanted to swim by herself and go down the big slide all alone. Addie clung to Benton most of the time. Addie screamed out of excitement pretty much the whole entire time. And Lincoln wanted a nap, so he just clung to Benton or myself. He didn't seem to care either way about the pool. I thought he'd enjoy it more since he loves the bath. I'm sure he'll like it more the older he gets.

It was a fun Saturday, but we are ready to get back to our normal routine...or should I say, I am ready to get back to our normal routine.
