We had a wonderful Christmas that started at 7:30a in the morning. I LOVE that my kids don't wake up super early to open presents, maybe they will once they get a bit bigger but for now, we can enjoy our sleep.
They were all thrilled with all the presents they got and were spoiled by everyone! Lincoln fought a bit with Addie because he wanted her horses she got but once the other presents were being opened she shared with him and all was well.
I was lucky enough to acquire the "HOT" toy for 2016. My niece, Breanne got an extra Hatchimal and let me have it to give it to my girls. It was the cutest toy and their favorite one they got. So if you don't know what a Hatchimal is, it's an egg that hatches into a little bird. The bird talks or makes noises, can roll around and its eye color changes depending on its mood. It hasn't been out of their arms since they opened it. They named her Olivia.
We stayed inside all day and let the kids play with all their toys. We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all did as well!

Christmas Eve Eve!
Since we knew there was a big storm heading our way we decided to celebrate Christmas with my family a day early. We ate dinner, talked, let the kids played and just enjoyed the holiday together as a family. Isn't that what the holidays are all about? I love my family and I am so lucky to have each and everyone of them in my life. It was a fun night together and I'm glad we did it early since we got almost a foot of snow!

Christmas Program
Addison had her Christmas program at Pre-school this week. She was excited before it began, all smiles excited that we were sitting on the front row near her.
And then the singing began and she was so shy. She hardly would look up and you could barely hear her sing. She got a bit of stage fright but her teacher said she did so well for staying up with the other kids even though she was scared and nervous.
No more school for a couple weeks! We are excited to celebrate the holidays and hang out over Christmas break!

Saint Nick
We finally were able to all go down and sit on Santa's lap. Addie was giddy with excitement, Lincoln was clueless as to what we were doing and Cambree couldn't wait to ask him for what she wanted for Christmas!
Surprisingly Lincoln didn't cry while sitting on Santa's lap but he wouldn't look at him either. Addison didn't speak, Cambree had to tell Santa what she wanted. And Cambree told him about the toy dog she wants. It has a leash, food and it poops. Sometimes I think she forgets we have a real dog that does all of that. Addie wants a raccoon costume and Lincoln is content, he still is too little to understand.
Only ONE week left until the big day! We are READY!

Temple Square
Last night we met my parents and sisters family at Temple Square to look at the lights. It was pretty dang cold but I'm glad we made the effort to drive down and spend sometime with my family. Also, I love to match the girls outfits and they love it too!
While we were there we went and listened to a concert for a few minutes. After a while Lincoln was ready to leave, so my mom and I snuck out the back. Cambree came up to us both and said "That was so rude of you guys to leave during the song. I bet that hurt their feelings. That wasn't very nice of you guys." She is so compassionate, I'm proud to be her mommy and next time, I will be more thoughtful of others! Lesson learned!
We are enjoying the holiday season! Hope you are too!

Our elf is back!
Ruby came back on December 1st and Cambree woke me up at 5:15am to go find her. I of course told her to go back to bed but she refused since she was so excited. It was almost like Christmas for her. She brought the kids Finding Dory and they've already watched it a handful of times.
It's amazing what that little elf does to my girls. They help more and are nicer to one another because they are trying to be really good so Ruby can report back good things to Santa! Cambree has also given her 2 letters and has another one ready to give her tonight. I peeked in one of them and she had given her a gold coin which was so thoughtful of her to give gifts back to Ruby and Santa. So far they are all on the good list!

Happy Thanksgiving!
The Westbroeks hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their house this year and it turned out perfect! There isn't anything better than spending a day with family. I love that the kids giggle, hug and play the whole entire time. They vary in ages and it doesn't matter, they are so cute together. I couldn't have married into a better family. I love how much they all interact with each other and can joke with one another. It was such a good day.
All the kids got their Christmas ornaments from Nanny Linda and Papa Tony which is always a hit!
After stuffing our faces with food we played a friendly game of Nerf gun wars-steal the flag. I think the adults enjoyed it as much as the kids did!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving as well. My kids were ready for Christmas this morning!

18 Months Old!
Lincoln is 18 months now! I can hardly believe it!
He weighs 23 pounds which is in the 30th percentile for weight. And he is 32.3 inches tall and is in the 50th percentile for height.
He still LOVES to eat and will try almost anything. And he still loves candy, especially suckers.
He is a mamma's boy and basically clings to me. I was a bit worried when I stopped nursing him at 17 months that he wouldn't want as much to do with me as he did but thankfully he still does.
He still loves Cambree so very much. She pretty much lets him do whatever he wants and I'm sure that's why he likes her so much. Seriously, her candy, her toys, books, blanket...anything. It's his if he asks. Addie on the other hand, he does not like much. He hits and bites her. I'm sure its because she doesn't share like Miss Cambree does.
We love our Lincoln boy and are lucky to have him in our family!
