12 Weeks Old

Our little guy is 12 weeks old already and such a little sweetheart. If everyone had a baby like him they would just keep having babies because he's so easy. He still doesn't cry much, unless he's hungry or wants to be held. He smiles so easily now. I can just say his name and look at him and he gives me a shy grin.

We still are practicing tummy time and he's getting pretty dang good. When he's laying down flat on his back he tries to lift his head up. I'm thinking he's going to crawl and walk sooner than my girls did. He's a strong little guy.

He still sleeps a ton. He mostly is sleeping through the night. Occasionally he wakes up at 2am but otherwise he doesn't wake till 6am to eat and then goes back to bed. We still have him in a pack n play in our room. He will most likely move into his own room soon.

Love our little dreamboat.

Summer Days

This past week we've had sunny and rainy days.

The girls loved playing in the rain with Cambree's umbrella she got for her birthday. They were screaming with delight.

Snuggling is always happening around here...

We made it to the Splash Pad yesterday, it was a bit chilly with the wind but the girls didn't seem to mind much.

Our June was the hottest month Utah has ever recorded which is crazy because July has had it's cooler moments. I guess you never know what kind of weather we are going to have around here. We will just try and enjoy whatever comes!

Happy 4th!

I love the 4th of July. It really feels like summer. Sitting outside at the parade on hot concrete, watching floats pass by and trying to catch candy. Don't get me wrong, I'm sweating hot but I still kinda love it. My girls were able to get a ton of candy and they had a blast. Lincoln didn't care for the firetrucks...boy were they loud and so was his cry. Addie's face was bright red, so we left a bit early. And no, she wasn't sunburned, she just looks like a tomato when she's hot...poor girl.

We came home and relaxed for a bit before we headed out again. But I had Lincoln have some tummy time, I love his facial expressions when he's concentrating...so adorable!

Later that evening we went over to Kenny & Caroline's for a good old BBQ. Nothing screams the 4th of July more than grilling up cheeseburgers on the barbecue. We all ate and afterwards all the kids had a huge water ballon fight, I'm pretty sure everyone got wet. I love how Cambree was protecting Addie and had her arms wrapped around her so tightly.

Afterwards we did our own fireworks show in front of their house. Luckily Lincoln didn't mind the ones we had.

It was a perfect day spent as a family. Hope you all had a fun day celebrating our freedom!

2 Months old!

Mr. Lincoln is already 2 months old! He is such a sweet baby. I thought Addie was a perfect angel baby, but Lincoln is even easier. He still sleeps A LOT. I'm still surprised how much he sleeps. He's so easy going. He only wakes up once a night. He is still sleeping in his pack n play in our room. He nurses really well and hasn't had any problems. He only cries when he's hungry or tired and that's about it. The minute you pick him up, he stops crying. He has started smiling when you talk to him and I know he's going to start giggling soon. He talks a bit, cooing and caaing when you talk to him. He really is just a dream baby. Such a sweet way to end our family.
Love you Lincoln babe!

Summer fun

Since its so dang hot outside we needed to do something cool for the kids. So we went to Liberty Park and let the kids play in the splash pad. They seriously ran the whole entire time.

Afterwards we were able to do a family dinner at my parents house. And Miss Addie as always was a bit naughty with the markers, she's always into something.

The next day we went to Chelsie's house and let the kids do a lemonade stand like they did last year. They were so excited, yelling, blowing whistles and giggling as cars drove passed. They each got between $2-$3 which is pretty good since it was split between six kids.

It was a fun filled week with my family, sure glad they were able to come out this year. Love them all so very much!
