Addie turned 10 months! Somehow we're inching closer and closer to her year old mark. She is a busy, busy girl. Crawls everywhere. The first week we moved in she figure out how to climb upstairs which is trouble because she can't climb down them. You have to be watching her 24/7 because she will get into anything she can grab. The other day she was able to get a piece of Roxy's food and was sitting there munching on it. She keeps me on my toes but I wouldn't want it any other way.
She eats baby food really well, about 3 times a day. I've finally started giving her table food and she's over the gagging and throwing it up stage. She loves to eat bananas and cheerios. I still haven't ventured much further.
Her fourth tooth has finally broken through. Thank goodness! Her sleeping habits haven't been that great since her teeth have started coming in. Only 16 more to go.
She's an excellent passenger in the car. She usually gibbers who knows what or falls asleep.
She says "mama" and "dada". I would say she's still a mama's girl at this point. She cries if I walk away or if she sees me from another room. She is such a sweet little girl. She's also shy. I need to get a picture of her tilting her head down when she's being shy. It's really cute but she doesn't do it for me, so I never can catch a picture of it. She's pretty much all smiles still, an easy baby.
Love you baby Addie.

She's 3!
Here she is my big 3 Year old! Don't you love how she shows you how old she is with her fingers? I love that it's her middle, ring and pinky finger.
I took her in for her 3 year old check up and she weighs 27 pounds 15 ounces which is 15% for her age, and she is 36.75 inches which is the 40% for height. So she is finally on the charts!
A little info about Cambree:
What's your favorite color? "pink"
What's your favorite animal? "horses"
What's your favorite food? "macaroni"
What's your favorite thing to do? "my kitchen"
Who's your best friend? "Spencer"
What's your favorite show? "Monsters Inc"
What do you want to be when you grow up? "sree" aka three
We've done a lot for Cambree's birthday this year with Chicago and the party at Barb's. But we had to do a big family party.
Before everyone came over we got the house all decorated!
I took a few pics of my big girl and of course Addie had to be included.
First item of business, presents. She got spoiled and LOVED everything she got!
Next, cake! She picked out the cake design all by herself. I tried talking her into something more girly but she wanted the caterpillar cake, so it was.
As you can tell from her cake, she is really into bugs right now. She loves to catch them. Thank goodness Breanne got her a bug catcher because that kept the kids busy finding bugs in the yard for quite some time.
We enjoyed visiting with everyone and Cambree loves all the attention. It was a success!
And around 10pm, Benton finished putting her play kitchen together to suprise her with. My parents helped chip in to pay for it. She was so excited, she kept saying "Wow!" I think it will keep her busy for quite some time!
Happy Birthday to my sweet Cambree. I love you so very much!

Back home
Benton had to go back to Illinois for a work trip and we decided to join him for multiple reasons. We decided to go the weekend before he had to be there to have a mini family vacation. And secondly, I wanted to go visit my good friend and old neighbor, Barb. When we booked our flights we didn't know at the time we were going to move. Thankfully we moved the weekend before our trip. It was a little chaotic getting all moved then packed to go on vacation but we did it!
Our first stop, Chicago! Cambree was so excited to be at the hotel. She was bouncing all around the beds and giggling.
My first item of business was to get pizza from Giordano's. I dream about that stuff. It is hard to explain until you actually try deep dish pizza. Benton and I decided the crust almost tastes pie like. It's delicious.
The day after we arrived was Cambree's 3rd Birthday! Such a fun way to celebrate by being in Chicago. She is an animal lover so we took her to the Lincoln Park Zoo. We had never been when we lived there, so it was a fun experience for all of us.
Afterwards we stopped by Navy Pier for some lunch and walked around a bit. For me, it's one of the prettiest places in Chicago. You have a wonderful view of Lake Michigan and the city. It's gorgeous.
That night we celebrated by singing "Happy Birthday" to Cambree and giving her a big cupcake. She was so excited to be "sree" aka three!
The next day was spent at The Science & Industry Museum.
Then on Sunday we left Chicago and drove to Bloomington, where we use to live. It was fun driving and seeing all the familiar sights.
That night Barb & Chuck threw Cambree a birthday party. Cambree was beyond happy when Barb took out the party hats. That's all Cambree's been talking about for the past couple weeks. She's been obsessed with talking about having a party and everyone wearing party hats. Barb did a Tinkerbell theme party and went ALL out. I'm talking decorations, balloons, cake with Tink, and many presents just for Cambree. And since she didn't want to leave Addie out, she got her a present too. Can you say SPOILED?!
We spent the next three days at Barb's house. We went to the Children's Museum which was really cute.
Read books.
Played with bugs, play dough, dolls, bubbles, you name it we did it. Cambree became fond of Chuck & Barb very quickly. She keeps talking about them and asking to go back to their house. I wish we lived next door to them like we did!
I took Barb to get her first pedicure. We both needed a little pampering and it hit the spot!
Benton and I took the girls to the State Farm Park which is a 99-acre recreational park and it's free for all employees. Its a bummer we can't go there more often! Definitely a perk if you live and work for State Farm in Bloomington! Since Benton worked during the day the girls got their snuggling time in with him after he got off.
And of course we had to get my all time favorite ice-cream. It's Butter Pecan from Carl's Ice-cream. I wish it was a chain because words cannot describe how divine this ice-cream is. I had actually forgotten how wonderful it was. And I'm kinda annoyed looking at this picture because I can't eat it at this very moment. It's that good.
And that about wraps up our family vacation to Illinois! I must say I am a lucky girl to have met Barb and have become closer to her even after moving away. She gives me wonderful words of encouragement and wisdom. I am grateful to have someone so sweet and kind in my life. They are like family to us and I cherish their friendship. Thanks Barb for such a nice visit! We miss you guys and think and talk of you daily!
