Trick or Treat

On Friday we brought Cambree to Benton's work to go trick or treating. We know she can't yet comprehend what she's doing yet but it was a nice excuse to go see daddy at work. I have never seen inside Goldman Sachs, so it was fun to see Benton's office.

Here she is all ready to go see daddy, crawling like a true ladybug!

She has to walk by herself. She looks pretty cute carrying around her trick or treat bag.

She was pretty confused as to why all the kids were dressed up in costumes. And she wasn't sure why everyone was handing her candy, but after a few hesitations from people she gladly took the candy from them.

Her favorite treat she got was a sucker. Once she picked it from the bucket she never let that thing out of her site.

A tradition we had when I was little was we always came home and dumped out our candy to see what we got. I'm pretty sure that's what every child LOVES to do. I showed Cambree and she was pretty excited!

Date night!

One of the best things of living here is seeing those we love. Since we moved back we hadn't been able to see Breanne and Chad. Breanne is our niece, even though she's closer to our age than Benton's brother. We really enjoy being able to double with them.

Benton and I had a rough time leaving our house, we first locked our keys inside our house. I don't think we've ever done that before, so Benton had to climb into a window. Then I somehow had the wrong address for the restaurant and when we pulled into "the restaurant", well it was a neighborhood. Nice. Once we got to the real restaurant I picked out, it didn't really have much seating inside. So off to Wing Nutz we went.

Breanne and Chad so happy to get their picture taken!

Benton and I...as you can see Benton is also thrilled to have his picture taken...

Everyone got wings besides me, I got this wrap to share with Cambree. Which she didn't really eat anyways...

After dinner we all came back to our house to watch a movie. Benton and Chad decided to play some NBA game on his PS3, so Breanne and I left and went shopping at Nordstroms Rack. Breanne hadn't ever been there, so what a great excuse we had to leave the guys while they were playing their game.

We had a great night visiting with you guys, we'll do it again soon!

Sick little one...

Cambree has had a runny/stuffy nose for 2 weeks now. I thought it would go away on it's own but she now has a cough and has been tugging at her ears. Sick little ones are the absolute worst. I feel so bad for her.

She hasn't really been wanting to eat, which is a problem because she's already tiny enough. I made a smoothie and she decided to feed it herself, such an independent little girl. Looks like she's enjoying it at least!

I bought her some new boots and she of course had to sport them out. She's my little doll baby carrying around her blanket with her binkie upside down in her mouth with her cute new boots. Just love her!

Last night she woke up around 10pm so I carried her into bed with Benton. She just snuggled right up to daddy.

Hopefully she starts feeling better soon. I heard the flu was also going around, hopefully she doesn't get that as well!

Gardner Village!

For the past 3 years I have gone to Gardner Village for their Witch Fest, I just think it is so dang cute. I of course couldn't pass an opportunity to go with 2 of my best friends.

Jill, Cortney and I have been friends since 2008. We met at America First, where we worked literally next to each other in cubicles. We have shared so much together, it's so nice to all go out. I remember it a little different though because then we didn't have our kids with us...or at the time I didn't even have a child, they did. So it's fun to see how much we've changed these past 3 years, so glad we still talk weekly!

Spencer was lucky enough to be able to come join us for the afternoon. He is obsessed with Halloween. He just smiled and giggled the whole time, love you Spencer!

Cambree threw a fit, she hadn't taken a nap and was so hungry. Poor thing!

We ate lunch at Archibald's. I would have to say it was a little crazy in that restaurant. I don't think us 3 girls talked very much, which isn't like us. It was just extremely loud and the kiddos were starving.

I did take a few pictures though! Jill, Logan and Taylor...

Cortney, Winter, Ledger and baby Cabott (he's hiding in her sling, so adorable)...

And of course Miss Cambree and myself...

After lunch Jill gave them all ring pops, which they absolutely loved! You can probably tell since it's still on their faces :)

Thanks girls for the nice afternoon! We'll have to do it again next year!

Trip to Tremonton

Benton's sisters both recently purchased some camping trailers, so they decided to stay the weekend up at Campers World in Tremonton. They invited us to come up along even though we don't have a trailer, nor do I sleep in a tent. So we ended up leaving Saturday morning to go hang out with them for the day.

Benton had Cambree sit on his lap to pet Aimee's new puppy Luke, and of course Roxy had to sniff out her new competition!

Carol showed Cambree her camper and she lite up, she was so excited to see us outside the window.

Cambree had so much fun with all her cousins. It was nice to just let her go off and play with them. Kenna, loves kids and was so wonderful to Cambree the whole time.

Cambree loved to play in the sand, she was pretty dirty after she was all done. Who cares if your dirty when you're camping, that's the way it's suppose to be!

Nanny Linda brought everyone up sandwiches for lunch. It was nice all being together and just hanging out.
Here is Cambree with her cute Nanny...

Here is Cambree and I, even though Cambree wasn't too thrilled to have her picture taken. She is getting harder and harder to take pictures of.

Last night we had hot dogs rolled up in crescent rolls, I think the best part was watching them cook in the fire :)

I have to admit, I am not a camper at all (Benton grew up camping, so he really enjoys it). I love the idea of camping, but actually doing it...well it's just not my thing. But I loved sitting with everyone by the fire. We of course had to get a family picture!

Ri loves to snuggle up with Cambree, she's so sweet to her. Girl cousins are the best!

Cambree is becoming more and more dramatic. She threw a fit and here she is the next minute with daddy...yes she's laughing her head off.

You can't go camping without getting a little messy...my favorite SMORES!

We left about 8:30pm and drove to the Hampton Inn. Like I said, I'm not much of a camping girl. This morning Cambree's hair was out of control. Somehow every morning her hair looks like this...

It seriously is crazy. After a yummy breakfast at the hotel, we took a dip in the pool. When we walked in, Cambree said "WOW!"

She giggled the whole time, kicking her legs for joy. And she was able to snuggle with daddy...

Such a fun time with the family, I could seriously hang out with them every weekend. Love you all!
