This Father's Day wasn't what Benton was hoping for. Cambree and I are here in Utah so Benton was all alone on Father's Day. I didn't think about that when booking our plane tickets, whoopsie!
I just wanted to wish my cute husband a Happy Father's Day and let him know how much we love him, even though we couldn't celebrate together. Benton is the best daddy to Miss Cambree. He loves her unconditionally.
Benton loves to play with her. He sits on our rug and dumps her toys out so they can play them together. They always have fun playing together at the park...honestly he'd probably let her get away with anything! She's definitely his little princess!
We call Benton daily and on my phone is a picture of Benton. When I call him she says "Da da?" like can we talk to him or what? If anyone calls me she thinks it's him..."Dada!"
When I look at her I can see Benton, I very rarely see myself. I love that they look alike. They are just both too cute!
Benton, we love you and wish you a very Happy Father's Day! Can't wait to hug and kiss you once you get to town! Thanks for everything you do for us!
Yours truly, your girls.

Old House Tour!
If you know me, you know how much I LOVE old houses. I could drive past them and stare out the window all day long. I wonder what they look like inside, how big are they?
We saw signs last week showcasing the Old Society House Tour this weekend, so I bought us tickets to go. It's kinda like the Parade of Homes, but of older houses. All the houses we walked through were built in the late 1800's early 1900's.
I loved all of the doorknobs, very classic.
I would love to take a bath in this old tub...
All of the wood in the houses are so incredible. Cambree and I are showcasing the beautiful windows. It was so extremely humid, we took hardly any pictures of us :)
You can tell how much love went into this fireplace, I think it's beautiful!
These houses weren't on the House Tour, but I thought they were pretty neat. Can you see the bricked street?
On the way to the car, Benton was holding hands with Miss Cambree...pretty dang cute!
I'm so happy I finally was able to tour some of the old houses we have here in town!

Stats are in!
We took Miss Cambree to the Doctor today for her 12 month check up. Our little doll baby is what you'd say petite!
Length: 28 3/4 - 20%
Weight: 17 lbs 5 oz - 15%
Head Circumference: 17.5 - 40%
I started Cambree on whole milk 3 weeks ago. It was an adjustment for her to use bottles since she hadn't in 6 months. And as of yesterday I stopped nursing her. I can't believe our time is over, it's been a sad couple of days (well for me). It's weird I thought she'd have a harder time with it, but she's content with her whole milk, probably a good thing for me.
I love how she holds her bottle!
She eats really good, pretty much whatever we stick in front of her face. We've tried a couple new things that she really enjoys, hotdogs, tator tot casserole and strawberries.
Cambree eats like a little monkey, I love how she holds things. (Pretty much anything she does is cute to me!)
She can say wow, ya and she tries to say bird (ba). Her little voice melts my heart. It's a lot girlier than I thought it would be. It's too cute.
Everyday she looks out the window and points at everything and says "WOW". If it were her choice we'd sit outside all day long. First thing in the morning in our jammies we take Roxy outside to go potty and Cambree sits on my lap and is in awe of the birds chirping. We go to the park or on a walk almost daily, fine with me because I love getting out of the house.
Still no teeth! Her doctor said if she doesn't have any by 15 months that's when they check to see if her gums are too hard for her teeth to come in. I love her gums!
Benton is the best dad, he's always playing with her. I love watching her laugh while playing with her daddy.
She loves to bounce up and down on our feet. She just giggles and giggles.
I would say she's still a mommy's girl, but who knows now that I stopped nursing. I just love this girl to pieces!

Cambree's 1st Birthday!!!
A year ago today we welcomed our sweet Cambree into our family. We waited 6 long years before we started our family and she was worth the wait. She was everything I ever hoped for in a baby. She has been such a blessing in our lives, I honestly don't know how we existed without her. Cambree makes us truly happy, such a wonderful gift in our lives. We love you dearly Miss Cambree. Looking back at all her pictures, it's hard to believe how small she was and how much she's grown this past year.
Proud new mommy and daddy at the hospital...
Look at her face, so sweet...
Isn't she tiny?
In a blink of an eye, she is now 1 years old! My friend Stephanie told me something while I was pregnant with Cambree and I think about what she said almost daily. She said to cherish each moment, every milestone and never wish her time away. Too often you hear people say..."If only she could crawl it would be so much easier...I can't wait til she can sit up on her own...Once she gets teeth feeding her will be..." and so on. She said that only too soon will all of that happen and you can't turn the clock back, so to cherish each moment because you'll miss what they are doing right then. I have caught myself saying "It'll be easier when..." and I stop myself and think I love where she is at in life. I CAN wait because I know soon enough she'll be all grown up. And honestly it's true, she's already 1...I feel like she's leaving me and going off to college or something...so crazy I know!
Was it hard for you all when your babies turned 1? I'm actually sad about it. I really would love to pause life because it is so perfect right now. I know Cambree and I will continue to enjoy life together and she's not my last baby, I just don't know where the time has gone?
Anyway, on to how we celebrated her day! Our neighbors, Chuck and Barb had us over this past Sunday to celebrate. They gave her a gift and she was thrilled...
They also made her a birthday cake, which was so sweet!
Ready for cake?
This is Chuck and Barb. They are like her grandparents, they adore her. They don't have any grandchildren of their own, so they really enjoy it when we go over and visit...they can't get enough of her. (She wasn't too thrilled about sitting, she wanted to play with her new present.)
It was so nice to celebrate with them, I LOVE having them as our neighbors!
Today we had to celebrate as well. Cambree doesn't mind having cake twice in one week :) Benton and I sang Happy Birthday to her, she wasn't quite sure what to think...
She took her sweet time eating her cake, she loved having the whole thing to herself.
My sister Chelsie gave Cambree this present and she LOVED it! I know what she'll be doing tomorrow. She just giggled crawling through it.
This big smile is because she saw her daddy at the other side of her tunnel.
Happy Birthday sweetheart, we love you so very much.
