Long weekends!

Benton has a new boss who allows contractors to work 4 ten hour days, his old boss didn't allow it. We were really excited when we found out he could switch his schedule! Now he is working Tuesday through Friday, yay for us! I worked tens for 7 years at America First and I LOVED it, so hopefully he will as well! He'll be working from 7-5:30pm so he won't be home that late :)

Today we decided to go check out an Outlet Mall in Tuscola, which is about an hour and 15 min away from our house. We always love driving somewhere we haven't been before. Unfortunately the shops weren't as good as what we or I should say I wanted or hoped for. I don't think we'll be returning there very soon, but I was glad we went.
Cambree and I got our picture before we left...

And since we're not going anywhere tomorrow I had Cambree wear her Easter dress...

We stopped at the golf course before dinner tonight, she just loves chasing after the golf balls, I've never seen her crawl so fast in my life!

For me the best part of every weekend is spending it with Benton. I pretty much beg him to get out of the house with me since I'm cooped up inside the rest of the week. I think it drives him crazy because he would like to relax, but isn't that what Sunday's are for?

Thanks Bent for the fun day!

Why not?

That's the question I asked myself 2 weeks ago. I was on the phone with my sissy Karly talking about the birthday party she was throwing for her two boys. She was saying how nice it would be to have some extra help, since she had so much to do and how it would be nice if someone from our family was coming. Then I asked myself "Wait, why can't I come? Why not?" So when Benton came home from work I was smiling from ear to ear. He of course was curious as to my attitude. He asked me "What did you break?" I guess I looked a little mischievous, I just couldn't hold in my idea much longer, I was trying to make sure he was in a good mood first before I sprung the idea on him :) Fortunately he was in a good mood and said if it made me happy to go and have fun. So Cambree and I to drove to Arkansas. It's an 8 hour drive without stopping and Cambree was an absolute ANGEL! She cried a total of 5 minutes on our way there and driving home she didn't cry at all! I know, she is amazing!!!

Karly and I had so much fun together, it was so nice to stay with her and her cute family for 11 days! We both wish we lived closer than an 8 hour drive, but we'd rather drive 8 hours than a 20 something hour drive from Utah to Arkansas. Here we are on the day of the party...

Let me tell you how much fun Cambree had. It was like she had 2 older brothers. They love her to death and she loves them. Her face would light up every time she saw them. Reid couldn't help himself, he loved to pick on her...not the littlest anymore! He was like her little shadow, everything she touched he wanted, whatever she was eating he also wanted, it was really cute. Reid just turned 2 so they are about 14 months apart. These two were pretty much inseparable...
Bath time!

Nice and cozy in their pj's, Cambree loved to steal Reid's blanket and binkie...Reid didn't appreciate her very much...

Reid loved to help feed Cambree. He'd pull up a chair in front of her to help out...

Sharing some snacks at Jack's soccer game...

Cute shopping buddies...

Jack and Cambree are like two peas in a pod. Jackie can make Cambree smile without a doubt every time she saw him. He is the sweetest little boy, he would let her yank his hair, pull on his face, climb all over him, steal his toys and he didn't blink an eye. He is in love with her, I've never seen anything like it. He wanted to be by Cambree all the time, he brought a picture of her to his show and tell at preschool, he really thinks she's something!
Jack kissed Cambree as much as he could, here he is smooching her at the park...

Loving each other before bed...

Jack thought it'd be fun to snuggle with Cambree and watch tv. Instead she picked on him the whole time, nice thought though!

Toy Story 3

Anyone see Toy Story 3? I did a couple months ago for the first time and just watched it again. Can I tell you that it brings tears to my eyes when I watch it? Fine, it did more than bring tears to my eyes, I actually cried. I know, I'm crazy or emotional? But it just made me think of how time goes by so quickly. One moment you are pregnant carrying them around, feeling all their little kicks and movements and then the next moment they are 10 months old crawling around everywhere. It was like I was watching a preview of just how quickly Cambree will grow up and herself going off to college. It makes me really enjoy every minute of her life because I know how much I'll miss her at this stage.

Cambree is 10 months old and so busy! I probably kiss her a thousand times a day because she is too cute for me to handle. So what is a 10 month up to?

Still no teeth, all gums! But it doesn't seem to matter much with eating. She is branching out on food...finally! I am still nursing her throughout the day and twice a night (I know, I know...I just enjoy nursing my little babe). But we have tried and enjoyed some more food, somewhat. I am working with her on eating black beans, frozen waffles, and mac & cheese. She'll stick them in her mouth but just spits them out after. She weighs 17 lbs, about average so I'm working with her to like more foods. A lot of the time she looks like a mess once she's eaten because she enjoys playing with her food more than eating it!

However she really enjoys bananas, cheerios, turkey, Gerber puffs, white bread, yogurt, cantaloupe, and her favorite...Fudge bars! I try not to eat them when she is awake otherwise she is sharing it with me...which in fact is the cuttest thing you've ever seen...

It's hard for me to not give in. Bad mommy.

Cambree has figured out there is a headband on her head and she doesn't always like it.

She crawls everywhere and now pulls herself up on everything. The oven, fireplace, couch, TV stand, me, baby gates, our kitchen chairs, really anything that she can pull herself up with.

She still is an easy baby. She really isn't ornery for no reason...at least not yet. She laughs all the time which is the best noise on this earth.

Loves other kids. Whenever she sees them she laughs and gets really excited and waves at them. (Oh, she just learned how to wave, it's adorable because she waves backwards, so really she's waving at herself.) Anyway, hopefully she'll continue to love other kids because she will not be the only child, and no we are not pregnant (even though I'd love to). Cambree we love you so much!
