1 month...

I've been doing Weight Watchers for one month today. I've lost 11 pounds so far! Yay, I've lost one third of my goal! Only 20 lbs left...sounds like a lot but I'm closer to my goal than I was a month ago, so I hope I can keep loosing weight like I have!

I will tell you I haven't heard my stomach growl before now in the longest time. After the first day I told Benton, I forgot what it was like to have your stomach growl because I never let that happen. That's probably why I was overweight :) I'm eating much healthier than what I was. Also, I'm not having the growling problem anymore...I've figured out what foods are power foods which makes me feel full.

Everyday is a struggle for me. I LOVE food, so it's a conscious effort I make daily. I have to tell myself it will be worth it in the end and that I've done it before so I can do it again! My clothes are fitting better so that definitely is a motivator, can't wait to wear my pre-pregnancy clothes again!

da da!

Cambree said da da on Monday for the first time! I was feeding her and she unlatched and said da da...I was tired and thought I was hearing things since she'd never said it before. So she got back on and then latched off again and said da da. It was so cute! I took her to Benton and finally after 5 minutes she said it again. Now she says it non stop. It's the cuttest thing.

We went to the golf range and of course Cambree had to be apart of everything Benton was doing. Who knows maybe she'll be a golfer like her daddy?

Gees, why is da da so far away?

Once she would finally get to Benton all the balls were at the next hole, so she would turn around and start for the next hole, she had a lot of fun! I loved watching them together. I'm sure she'll be going to the golf course all summer long!

Our backyard...

Since moving to Illinois we have seen alot more wildlife than we are use to...especially all in our backyard.

When we first moved here Benton had a funny fascination with the squirrels. They are everywhere running around, and climbing trees. He would always point them out and watch them. I think they are very cute but since I lived here in Illinois for 6 years when I was younger I was somewhat use to them. I love looking out the window seeing them flutter from here to there.

We also have such a pretty red bird that comes and sits on the trees behind our house. I love the noise they make, it's so pretty. I think it might be a Cardinal.

Also living in our backyard are 2 bunnies. They aren't always in our backyard but I see them about everyday. I think bunnies are really cute and I don't mind having them in my backyard. I love watching them bounce around our yard.

But there is one animal in particular that I DO mind being in my backyard. It just gives me the creeps every time I see it. I opened my bathroom window and this popped out from under our shed...

Yep, we have a Groundhog. Who has a Groundhog in their backyard? It's a little to much for me. Now I have the funny fascination with looking out my window EVERY single time I walk by to see if it's out and about. Yucky! I have images of Roxy and Mr. Groundhog going at it and it freaks me out. Benton says that it won't hurt Roxy but that it will just run back into it's hole, all I can say is I hope he's right. I'm creeped out by him...

A little of this...a little of that...

That's what we've been up to, just whatever comes our way! Last Friday for our mom's group we had a field trip to Gymnastics Etc. I was excited to see the girls and just hang out. One of my new friends Christy has a little boy a week younger than Cambree, so we had to put them side by side.

I love Cambree's expression, it's almost like she's saying "Really mom?"

Getting a little friendlier...

And then he grunted, which apparently Cambree found quite upsetting as you can see...

That night we got all dolled up and went out to dinner. Here's us girls all ready to go...

Lately we put Cambree to sleep and she either freaks out right then or we accidently wake her up. Our bathroom is right next to her room and sometimes just walking on the old wood floor wakes her or even us opening/closing our squeaky door...it's super annoying. I think this picture is adorable, she had just woken up so she was snuggling up with Bent...you can see just how tired she is...

And for today's adventure, since the high was 56 degrees I thought we needed to take a trip to the park! I was so excited to be outside in the sun. It was windy, but I really didn't care, I'm so ready for spring!
Cambree LOVES the swing...

Not too exciting around here but at least we've been up to a little of something!

Who do you think?

I am curious as to who you think Miss Cambree looks like, is it Benton or myself? We get mixed reviews from about everyone. I searched for some pictures of Benton and myself at Cambree's age and thought that might help! They aren't the best quality but they'll work.
Of course here is Miss Cambree...

So Independent!

Our little girl is now 9 months old! She has changed quite a bit in the past month. Cambree is now figuring out she can do things all by herself. Here is what she has been up to...
She is still such a happy baby. Loves to smile and laugh...

Cambree is a momma's girl. I love how she rattles off mum and mama, I doubt she knows what she is saying but it's still cute. She reaches for me and lights up when I walk into the room...

Posted by Picasa

Loves her daddy. When he comes home from work she smiles and giggles as soon as she sees him. She of course loves it when he snuggles with her and scratches her back...

Posted by Picasa

Learned she can hold herself up while standing...

Posted by Picasa

Gets into everything. Here she is sitting in Roxy's bed while getting into the magazines, such a stinker baby but too cute!

Posted by Picasa

Steals Roxy's toys thinking they are hers, all I can say is Roxy is not very pleased with her new sister...

Posted by Picasa

Loves her new toy I got a couple weeks ago. I kept putting off buying one of these things because they were a little expensive but at Sam's Club they had a good deal on them so I finally broke down and bought one...

Thinks she can feed herself, she always is grabbing the spoon while I am feeding her. Her face is now ALWAYS a mess after she eats. She grabs the spoon and then itches her eyes, not a fun thing for her. I am still nursing her and loving it, sad that our time is coming to an end.

Loves Gerber puff graduates, as you can see she'll do anything she can to get them in her mouth...

Posted by Picasa

She has figured out that she doesn't have to stay in one spot in her tub. She is moving all around finding fun spots to sit...

Posted by Picasa

Starting to crawl! I think this is such a fun age, I love watching her figure out that she can move all by herself. Also, it's pretty cute seeing her crawl to you and then clapping once she has made it!

Love you stinker bug!
