Babysitting

I watched Chelsie's (my sister) 9 month old, Spencer for 9 hours! It was so much fun, at first he was a little fussy but after a short nap, he was much happier. I came to the realization that being a mother would be really hard. Things as easy as making a sandwich is harder than it looks, or even going to the bathroom. I bought a little swimming pool, and I sat in it with him. I'm sure people on the golf course, thought I looked a little weird, but who cares. It was easier being in the pool with him than bending over to make sure he doesn't put his face in. He really wanted to for some crazy reason, I had to let him know he wasn't a mermaid and he wouldn't be able to breathe if he did put his face in. After our swim time he took a nap and I held him for an hour and a half, I love cuddling with him! It was sad to let him go home with his parents, but Chelsie assured me that I could babysit him in the near future! What a fun day!

Little Red Riding Hood Bike Ride

On June 7, 2008 I did the Little Red Riding Hood Bike Ride. I rode from Wellsville, Utah to Weston, Idaho. It was 80 miles, and one of the best things I have ever done! The craziest thing happened, I got a flat tire within the first 5 miles of the ride, which was so disappointing. Women kept riding by asking "Are you ok?" but never stopped, finally a woman stopped so I could borrow her pump. Your probably thinking who goes on an 80 bike ride without a pump? Well of course, I did. The weather was freezing cold, 45 degrees in the morning and the warmest it got was 60 degrees. It rained on us part of the time, I hadn't trained to ride in the wind or the rain. I went with my 2 friends Mandee and Melissa and we laughed the whole time. We are so excited to do it next year, I cannot wait!

Not sure what I'm doing!

So everyone that I know has a blog, so I thought why not? Shouldn't be too hard to figure out, that's what I thought, except now I can't think of anything interesting to say, so I'll have to come back to this blog thing.
